Sorry, I think I meanderd into the Rally New York photos.
Not quite a Suburu in Ice, but an Evo in water is just as interesting.

I've not heard of this rally but would be like to go! Usually, STPR is the only "rally fixx" I get a year. Where is it located in WV?

Thanks for the info! I was due to go to Montreal this past weekend but that got cancelled. Had I known this was going on, I would've made the trip. There's a nice place we stay at just south of Snowshoe on 219. I LOVE 219! :D
Maybe next year!

Route 55 and 28 were absolutely amazing, I definately recommend anyone coming from I-81 to take that route in next year.

It may be ugly but it is also functional...Full WRC style front clip.
Dual radiators (right and left with huge hot air outlets pre-engine bay) with center mounted intercooler and oil cooler. Makes lots of sense to remove the hot air before the engine bay.
Engine moved down and back...
Carbon roof....
Sequential gearbox...
huge HP and torque #s
Huge $$$,$$$.$$

Aye, it's ugly but it's quick as hell.

I think they are allowed in open, but because of the cost nobody really runs them. Subaru had them in their open class car when the first came to ProRally.

Yeah, and you aren't allowed to move the factory firewall either as far as I understand but that car has indeed done both....

I started that car on one of the stages and lets just say that he is keeping a ton of heat out of the engine compartment with that design. When it drove up I was actually suprised at how much hot air was blowing out on my leg.
I've heard numbers in the mid-high 200s quoted for the build. Never quite sure what to believe, but I'm sure it wasn't cheap.
edit - here's a pic online of the goodies: http://www.onalimbracing.com/gallery2/v/2006newyork/2006newyork-fullselection/2006newyork-pre/IMG_0891.jpg.html

Amazing in what aspect? 250 over to Staunton was great. Twisty, 5 or 6 times over the mountains and back down again. A real drivers treat. Only once did I get behind a slow mover that frustrated me.

The view. It goes through the Appalachians and Shenendoah N.P. Absolutely gorgeous roads to drive on, I had to stop a few times just to take everything in. It's also very (VERY) twisty and fun to drive.
