Monte Carlo here i come. Woohooo

I just finished booking my flights, hotel and rental car. I am off to watch the Monte Carlo Rally. Woooohoooooooo hahaha
I am going to be staying in Nice (like most crews/rally workers do), just 9 miles from Monaco. I will be hanging with some of the guys from ISC (the broadcasters of the rally).
I cant say what i hope to be doing because i dont want to put it at risk but it's damn exciting. :cool:
I'll be there for the Shakedown and all the rally plus the after rally party in Monaco. :D I'll take as many photos as i can so i can post them on here when i get back.
I must find my old french books, only things i remember are pretty useless. My favourite is ferme la bouch. (shut your mouth. :lol: )

Sorry, never been to the Monte and it's been a life long ambition of mine. The fact i will be doing this with guys who will be bringing you all the coverage you see on speedvision is pretty exciting to me.

You should try to get yourself on the broadcast! Seeing as you know all the people on the inside, it shouldn't be that hard to pull a few strings:D

I took 450 pictures on my week at the NetworkQ/Nurburgring so i expect i should be able to manage 300 on the rally this time. :eek:
Looking at the event timing i should be able to get to Monaco in time for the scrutineering on wednesday then do the shakedown thursday and pre-start Ceremony followed by 3 days on the stages.
I have been asked to do something fun in the press centre but that's going to limit my time on stage so i am trying to work something that allows both right now. Hopefully it'll work out. If i cant do the press centre thing part time i'll just go to the stages.
Cant wait to go now. :D

Just four more days to the Monte Carlo. Man, I'm jealous of you John. That is a rally I'd like to see live. Well, someday I'll go to a WRC rally. Hopefully NA gets one soon.
