Awesome! I have seen one on a local wrx in person, and i definatley think it is very classy! You couldnt tell me how much you got it for and what seller it was could you?

Ikonosin - you are correct, those are 18x7.5 sokudo's with a 42mm offset.
ATX25RS - I think the airflow is slowed a bit, but it never really gets above 100F here.
b0rf - Why not regular black mesh? because most people have it, and I like to have unique things.

You can overheat your car in the middle of winter if you restrict enough airflow. :rolleyes:

I am diggin that mode!!!! Just got my silver Rex and need to get rid of the black stock grille. I think it is ugly and doesnt really scare small children like yours in the rear view mirror:devil:

I'm serious. How tacky. It doesn't fit the car at all. It might impress guys at the chevy truck show but not me. It looks like a low rider truck now. And you got it on ebay. That's funny. But it's cool that you like it because it's all about what you like and not what I like! :P

Does the billet piece fit over the stock grill or replace the stock grill? Hard to tell from the pictures and the ebay auction didn't specify.
If it fits over the top of the stock grill, how much can you see the stock grill under the billet grill?

mtbhadfield - the billet fits into the stock grille, you have to cut out the emblem, and a few pieces of plastic above and below the emblem. I had to shave down the aluminum for the perfect fit.
From a standing position, all you see is the aluminum and black(only the face is machined, the rest is painted black.)
From other vehicles, the factory grille is barely visible. You really have to look to see it.

Just drove the car hard for a few hours, the temp was around 100 f and the temp gauge was where it usually is. No problem with overheating.

I like it, its original. I'm tempted purchase a set as well. it gives it a classy look not the riceresque look that so many seem to emulate. Though i am tempted to have mine painted black hmmmm. . .
