Hey guys, I figured this was the right section to put this in.
Would a 6ft. tall guy be able to sit comfortably in an '06 Ltd WRX, or would I have to do the Gangsta lean? I ask this because i read that the sun roof takes up about an additional 2 inches of head room.

I'm 6'1 in my '05 Premium Pkg (Ltd = Premium), (the car is the same from '02-06), and i have PLENTY of head room, i have the seat up a bit for a comfortable clutching, and the seat is just barely leaned back.

I'm 6'2" and even though I don't have a sun rooof there's more than a couple inches to spare. It's got the most head room of almost any sedan/wagon I've been in.

Dude you'll have plenty of room. Yeah I'm almost 6'3 and 220 lbs and I fit w/ plenty of head, shoulder, hip and leg room. In fact I've got more headroom in my WRX then my Wife's 04 Camry.

I'm 6'1 and I have an 05 Sedan w/Sunroof, my head almost touches the roof. My hair (no, i dont have a fro) rubs up on the roof. :(

If you have a sunroof, the roof is about 2 inches lower, and my hair rubs. I do spike it up a bit, and Im 6 ft and 0.5 inchs tall. I dont have the sunroof, and I fit fine. But I've test driven sunroof versions, and I dont like them because of the lower roof.

Eh I guess i'll live, aslong as my head isnt constantly hitting the roof. I tend to lean the chair back a bit too, lol unlike my mom who insists on having a 90 degree chair. But yeah we'll see.

I think the guys who are hitting their heads need to lower their seating position. Ive never had this issue. and again im 6'1.

Im 6"1 maybe 6"2, and i have plenty of room but I wish the seat was still lower. When I sit with my ass in the back of the seat (instead of just slouching like I usually do) i feel way to high up but thats with most cars. An aftermarket seat would be a good fix for that.

Is the seat height adjustable? Like can you manually move it up or down? I would assume so because of all the short women out there.

i'm 6'3" I fit pretty comfortably... The seat is as low to the floor as it will go though. My WRX has more head room than my Grand Am GT with the sunroof did.
My only wish is that there would be one, just one more notch to move the seat rearward.

do you run on the track? if yes then consider headroom for a helmet. i have an 04 w/ sunroof. I was on the track once last summer - to fit in my car w/ the helmet I needed to lower the seat all the way AND do the gangsta lean-back (not to mention sliding the seat forward so I could reach the steering wheel). Im 5'11" btw. who knows maybe the helmet i rented was 4 inches thick.

dude hight adjustable seats. i drop my seat all the way and i am 6' tall and i have plenty of head room. oh yeah i do have the sunroof

Im 6'5" and I fit in my TR nicely, I dont think the interior space is different on the 2, I sat in a ltd, and fit fine.

i have an 04 and im 6'2" but i like to lean back and look out the back side windows when im driving. but ya there is plenty of room for someone 6' or taller

i'm 6' with a sunroof. my hair rubs when i spike it up, and a helmet is practically impossible to wear. i got an aftermarket seat to fix that problem.

What year is your car? How thick are racing helmets usually? What seat did you replace it with? (Wow I ask alot of questions. :lol: )

racing helmets vary in thickness. i believe they add at least two inches to your head.
i replaced it with a corbeau which i am unhappy with. the fitment was poor, and i was offered a refund, but i would've had to eat the shipping both ways, so i just kept it. the seating position is around two inches lower, so now i can wear a racing helmet.
you can raise or drop the seat in a WRX. even on the lowest setting, i don't see how anyone above 6' could have enough headroom with a sunroof for a helmet. without the sunroof, it is a WORLD of difference.

I would imagine, but I have a very large disdain for cloth interior, so I opted for the limited. Its okay though, because I did not buy this car with the intention of it being soley (sp?) a track car. Whatever it ends up being like for me, I'll just make do and find a way to make things work.

Yup Im 6'4" and head room is good, just want one more notch. Whenever I brake the side of my knee hits the steering column. I can still brake just fine, and doesnt effect driving, just a comfort thing.
