Yup.Trying to spray paint some parts in the garage. I don't think paint is suppose to freeze as it comes out of the nozzle.(but im not an expert)

You're not supposed to spray paint in temps below 70* or with humidity below 50%. What happens is the moisture will cause the paint to go hazy white. The temp is important so that it can adhere properly to the surface.

Calvin, Thanks.
I really do know the importance of a warm enviroment while painting. These are just small parts being painted a flat black because I have no choice. Not worth bringing them to a pro shop and I need to finish the project. I spray outside, wait for the fumes to clear, and drag it back into the warmth. However this week has been so cold that
even that is a poor idea. But good to give good tips.

I'm just too lazy to go outside. My car sits outside without any Morrette covers. Looks like someone stole parts of my headlights :p

Why don't you just drive around with unpainted bodykits on your car like all the ricers who live near me.
I always wondered why people spent the $ on a bodykit and then didn't paint it, so I support your cold weather painting efforts and suggest the use of a space heater and a small sealed plastic tent to do the painting.

I was doing stereo work in the garage yesterday and couldn't feel my fingers after running cables under the trim. It's so very, very cold out there.

Set up a tent around your work area... like a hunting duck blind or something. It'll at least keep the cold out. I saw 2 telephone trucks with their baskets in the up position, and the guys had made a tent to work under... just to keep out the wind.
Don't lick anything.

Haha, dang, its pretty cold out here in San Diego too. Everytime I go out, I have to debate whether or not to bring a jacket... sigh :)

Sorry if I'm wrong on this but don't you *want* the humidity to be below 50%, the less moisture in air the better?

Yea that 50% thing was prolly just a type. I have always found LOWER humidity is better for painting. Thats why a lot of airbrushes use moisture traps.. speaking of which i had a lot more success with my airbrush in San Diego than i do now that i live in virginia.
SubieRX: I hate you! (j/k but i miss san diego and now live in Virginia. When i go out i wear two jackets and a giant fur hat!)

JDM sidemarkers.
without a drill.
i filed a hole that was drilled for me so the one would fit.
it's still not perfect, i need to seal the 'wound', and it took about two hours in total with the little pocketknife file i had.
and then there's the wiring.
not that cold, only 20degrees.
