Pics of Orange WRX (APC) Showcar?
Hello All,
Just wondering if anyone has pictures of the Orange APC WRX showcar. I am going to buy a WRX in Feb. 2002 (probably white for custom-painting), since we can't get yellow wrxs in canada. I know APC makes some pretty cheezy stuff, but I am more interested in seeing how the car looks with the custom orange paint. Thanks again...hoping for an sti announcement before i make the plunge (but can't wait forever).

First, welcome to the i-club. There were a number of pictures out there of the orange APC but they're all gone now. I just did a search and a lot of the pictures are now red-Xs (broken links). I think the pictures have been banned from the site due to the negative response j/k. ;)
Just a heads up, you may be opening yourself up to some criticism or flames.

Do a search under "Taste The Rainbow" in Off Topic. I believe Page 3 has the General Lee. Lots of colours to pick through.

Here u go,, I have other pics.. I thaught I deleted them because the whole car made me puke at SEMA..Oh.. by the way...I will have to kill you if you buy them rear lite clusters :)....Gerry

If you want to ruin a perfectly goor WRX, That color is from a 94-95 Mustang GT.
Now, you can always paint it Blaze Yellow or better yet, Fly Yellow!

well, personally i think those altezza lights are okay, they just give ppl more options to dress up the wrx and stand out(like the morrette to the front head light). think, the stock wrx is like the opposite of GC8; ordinary looks but rocket fast.
those aftermarketers must have know the sales of the wrx b4 they made the altezza light for it, so that's why i mentioned hondass up there...

I am not in line for Altezza'a but a selection of different taillights for the WRX would be nice. How about crystal clear red with reverse on the bottom with the blinker instead of on the top? THis would look clean and nice just like guys changing the GC8 lights to Jap spec lights with clear blinkers. Got it?

The color is a matter of opinion, but I saw the Super Street WRX in their mag and the quality looked like ****. I couldn't believe how crappy it looked in the engine compartment, around strut towers, etc. I don't have the mag, but I remember seeing huge orange paint gobs on bolts that they removed to add performance parts. I don't know what it looks like in person, but I think they might have actually succeeded in laying down a poorer quality piant job than Subaru!
