nah, i doubt it'll help around the cones any, but hopefully it'll bring a SUV driver's attention down to humble ole me a little quicker so she won't run my gludius maximus off the road.

get the jamstrait cluster LED blink lights. they make mine blink twice as fast. since the led's are clear and blink amber, your headlights are white all around with the orange filimant removed.

Fast blinkers make me convulse. I don't see a use for them (other than matching the 5" exhaust tip and the 5 degrees of negative camber).

like we don't the same for any other mod? Gee, how come you have so much NVH from ur car.. errr.. engine/tranny mounts. Man, your car rides rough and is loud. err.. camber plates/lowering springs/Z-rated tires.

Personally i think its safer to have anything that can draw more attention to your car, especially when changing complete direction of your, because isn't the whole point of blinkers to draw attention to your car?.....so a mad blinking light will do just the such.
P.S. make sure to get those donations out.....neeed sparco EVO-2 of them

I got some LED blinkers on my headlights. I took out the amber bulb and did the headlight mod so the outsides are black. I have also added hyperwhite lights to the headlights, fogs, and the little parking light. It looks phat! When the leds are off they look clear and when they are on the blink bright red.
If anyone is interested, I have an extra set of these led lights. They will make you blinkers blink crazy fast too. I will part with them for $20 plus shipping, IOW, no profit for myself... cause they goin' on a WRX!

[flamesuit] I have an adjustable blinker relay in my car. That way when i'm driving normally i have it set to somewhat normal speed, then when i really need to change lane and that SUV or someone won't let me in i speed it up. For me it [b]does[/b] help out and people let me in to change lanes (that is why i did this mod in the first place). Or you can just buy a new relay on ebay then replace your stock one. Any ol relay should work as long is has 3 pins on it. PM me if you are going to do it this way since the relay is kina hard to find in a MY00 RS. (MY02 imprezas are very easy to find, right under the steering if you look under.) You just have to put your hazards on and follow the sound. [/flamesuit]

I am soooooooooooooo very sick of Scooby owners acting like their cars aren't ghetto.... Ya.... lots of people put stupid things on their cars.... but obviously they like it otherwise it wouldn't be there....... stop acting all high and mighty..... I got a new bumper that didn't support the factory turn signal lenses, so I made my turn signals inside the corner lenses along with the parking lights. I cut the original parking light (194 bulbs) socket off and wired up some blue LED's and drilled a hole, and etc. and etc. and made them my new parking lights. Now, I cut the original turn signal sockets (1157 bulbs) off and attached those wires to my 194 bulb sockets that were still in the corner lens. This made the signal blink a little faster. It's definitely not fast like some of the ones you see on Honda's, etc.

Getting the heavy duty trailer-towing flasher should do it too.

Seriously though. Just USING the blinker is enough to make me happy. Today I had the pleasure of following some little wench in an Accord who insisted on cutting people off without signalling, all the way home. She didn't even have a cell phone or food or makeup to keep her hands busy. She just doesn't have any respect for others. Bad parenting in my book.

1. the car is SOOOOOOO common :p
2. cops love to pull people over when you GRAB their attention
3. faster blinkers means people will be distracted/attracted to anything out of the ordinary

err.. for the record.. I detest Altezza lights and neon lights. I doubt i'd actually PAY for this mod, but if its a little DIY I can do at home on a bored afternoon, why not?

Hmmm, I don't like the faster rate of blinking but agree to the idea of attracting more attention of other drivers, so...
I wonder if there is such thing as full-adjustability blinker? I can tune to it REALLY fast blinking at night, but then tune back to normal (or even slower) during daytime?
