RB5 Wing

I was wondering everyones opinion on the Prodrive RB5 wing on a 99 aspen white gc8 compaired to the stock wing. There is a dent in the trunk that was there when I bought the car and I figured since they were doing the trunk anyway I might as well change the wing.

I had the RB5 wing on my RS. The car was Sedona Red. I love the looks of the car with that wing on it. Get it, You won't be sorry.

I am definately sold on the wing. Thanks for all the responses. Went to buy it and AFS is sold out. Does anyone have any idea where I can purchase one of these? Very good quality replica or orginal (if its not going to break the bank).

I had the real deal on my car and it was perfect. Fit and finish were top notch as you would expect from Prodrive. A friend of mine got a replica and is fit pretty well, but not perfect, the holes in the trunk needed to be remed out a bit and the wing started to sag alittle in the middle after about a year. I would say go with the real one if you can afford it, if not get the replica. This wing looks so good. What color is your car?

What tires are you running?
Mike, Revolutions had them for a while might want to try giving them a call. If you want a real one you can always call Prodrive, they are 6-700 I believe.

Prodrive USA or Prodrive England? Makes sure you e-mailed Prodrive USA. They have a list of retailers on their site.

Thanks for the responses. I emailed prodrive usa. I got a response saying that wing is no longer in production. Im going to email the place in ireland and see how that turns out.

thats the only wing that i would consider putting on my RS. the V5/V6 just look too weird with the double deck thingy.

Yup, I love my Revolutions Motorsports replica RB5 wing. It attracts a little extra attention from the ricers (which seem to be reproducing like rabbits where I'm currently at) but it's fine, I just laugh at their stupid advances.

You want to see ricers multiply come up by me some time. Living 10 minutes away from SeaSide Heights doesnt help with that at all. They are all attacted to the place ever since MTV was here.

I wouldnt mind a replica as long as it is of good quality. I have been in contact with AFS and they havent had any in stock for sometime. For the past month or so they have been still waiting to "Get some in" with no date as to when they will be coming in.

I've got an never mounted, never used, unpainted brand new Rb5 replica that I bought from AFS. All mounting equipment included, if ur interested. I never had a chance to put it on my old 00Rs that I sold for my new STi. PM if interested.
