Yes, that's right -- ALL day on the 1st, Speed TV is playing the whole season 2003 season of WRC.

From 7:00 am est - 9:00 pm est

Then at 9:00 pm est -- 1 hour special "The Year In Racing - World Rally Championship"

The only problem is that they're the 1-hour programs, instead of the 2-hour ones, which I just happen to have on VHS tape, commercial-free. :D

yep, but doing ~30 hours of rally video for one season would be an inane amount of work :) and would require me to dedicated .5TB of disk just to that project.

I wish I could do the 2 hour episodes... but just couldnt do it :)

Ahh hehehe ;) You wouldnt have been the only person whos asked me about why I dont do the 2 Hour episodes though ;)

SO far so good. I screwed up on recording Monte, but I didnt need to since I recorded it last year. Only think thats ticking me off is the stupid "Speed Racer" promo logo they fade into the top corner at the begining of the rallys.

Yep, really this season was one of the best I have ever seen.

Now starts a good number of days worth of work to edit, compress, and master the DVD's :)

(sill recording the Year in Review though... which is suprisingly better than last years.)

I hated that World Rally-thon logo, always blocking the stage times and gas/brake indicators :furious:

Based on the commercials they were running here in NJ (I get the feeling they were regional commercials), we are all:

a) seriously in debt
b) owe a significant amount in back taxes; and
c) love bevis and butthead, 80s glam rock, and female country singers.

I was a little disappointed with the Year Wrap-Up show after having watched most of the events. Did they have to actually summarize each race using the same format? Why not focus in on the stories that didn't involve the podium? There were so many good ones this past season...

Admittedly I turned it off about 45 mins in, so maybe the last 15 was worthwhile.

I STILL don't know what the rule changes are for 2004 that everyone keeps talking about. Nothing at wrc.com or SpeedTV.com. If I hear someone say "Based on the rule changes for 2004..." one more time I'm going to lose it.

Theres a massive drivers points rule change. The whole driver limit and such things. Look backin the august time period.
