Splash\Mud Guards

Can anyone recommend a good set of splash\mud guards for a '05 WRX Wagon?
I saw a set from www.1stsubaruparts.com. Anyone have experience with these products? How difficult are these to install?
Any advice is appreciated.

The best IMO are the wagon specific Prodrive ones--pricy though.

subaru doesnt make splash guards for the WRX
you can get RS/TS splash guards and dremel the fronts to fit over the sideskirts - see www.scoobymods.com for more info

There's a set of Prodrive mudgaurds for the wagon on sale now in the Private for Sale classifieds. They're on the expensive side but a lot of members hold them in high regard due to the fitment and look. You have an 05' so you may have to mod them slightly or they may simply not fit at all :)

I used NAPA splash guards on my 04 wagon and my 05 sedan. They are universal flat plastic splash guards. They are sold in pairs - get the larger size, I forgot the part number but search under my other posts and you should find it.
Just make templates from poster board and cut out the plastic ones when you are happy with the fit. It's pretty easy.

Also check www.fastlineonline.com, and I have also heard good things about the rallyarmor flaps as well.
I am running fastline flaps and have been very happy over a years time zero problems. They are also running them in different colors know too.
Happy Motoring

For about $25 you can buy the NAPA flaps and all the stainless steel hardware to attach them. If you take your time they will look as good as any purchased flaps.

I'm personally a fan of these new ones that Scoobysport just came out. I don't know of they're a rebadge of some other brand or what, but they're fairly low profile. I don't have them, so I can't speak from my own experience, but I'm considering getting these. I'm not a fan of the huge mud flaps flopping around...I don't want to look like a pickup truck!

Rallyarmor flaps aren't flappy like P/drives. They dont sail, yet they still bend when needed.

Getting back to one of your initial questions - 1stsubaruparts.com is a reliable vendor. Every time I've ordered from them, I've gotten a personal phone call verifying the order to make sure that I got exactly the parts I wanted. Shipment comes pretty quickly too.
That said, I did the RS->dremeled to fit mod as described on scoobymods.com
Couldn't be happier :)
my $0.02

Nice car, what exhaust is that??
As from experience, I recommend the fastline and the Prodrive mudflaps. Havent seen the Rally Armor onces though. Is it me or do big mudflaps look attractive?

Does anyone have these yet? This looks like a good looking and afordable options. I just can't bring myself to pay what Prodrive wants for a set of thiers. The Prodrives are great looking and fitting, but I don't think they are worth the $$$$ for me.
I currently have $18 worth of generic mudflaps on my car.

Dale, I had to take my flaps off the other day because they were pretty much useless now. I may have to look into the rallyperformance flaps before winter hits...

I pre-ordered the Rally Performance mudflaps back in September, but I have not received them yet. The last email that I got from them said they were having a problem with the source of one of the clips. I hope I get my set before winter comes.
