trade 04 front end for an 02 front end

Any WRX '04 owners out there that want to trade their front end for my '02 front end? I know there has been a lot of debate about the styling of the new front end, so if your one of those people that likes the 02-03 style instead of your 04 style drop me a line. There are a hell of a lot more kits available for the 02-03 styling. :) Mine is silver btw and I live in ca. Please email me.

I thought the whole point of buying an '04 was NOT to have the ugly-ass front end of an'02, '03.

yah, i did put in a lot of money on the facial to get it to where
it looks now. i like it now, but never liked the 02's factory look.
two words: was ugly
when i compared my 'before' picts, my buddies were laughing
at me because of how ugly the car looked out of the box. they were making fun of me that i was actually drooling over THAT at the dealer?

my guess is if the people wanted the older look, they will buy an 03... They are still readily available and can be had for a steal of a price...

ditto, all it takes is the JDM headlamps to look aggressive. With the Sti Lip and the solid foglamp covers, the car is downright exotic and mean. Nothing will look like it for a long time. They wanted unique when they designed it and they got it.

Our 02's don't look all that pretty, but at least they don't look like Kia's.:rolleyes:

I don't think the 02-03 looks like a neon. I have never said that. To make a blanket statement like that would be stupid and untrue. What's strange though, is I'd take an SRT-4s front-end over an 02-03 WRX any day.
The old front-end has always been ass. It took me 2 long years to wait for Subaru to change it. It's funny, all the 02-03 owners defend their cars to death, while anybody else prefers the new look, hmmmmmm.
Found another zipper on flame suit-zipped it up too.

i think the SRT-4's front lights look a bit nicer and better fitting than the 02-03's, but as for the rest of the front end, i think the wrx looks much nicer and cleaner than the neons...as for the 02/3 to 04 debate, the new lights remind me more of the 00-03 maxima's than a kia or the rsx...but they don't look bad, just not as aggressive as the 02/3's esp if you have the JDM/EDM lights...imho i think the pre-04 STi's looked "faster" and more aggressive than the new ones...but that's just me...they're all nice, esp the new interiors (anyone want to trade 04 seats for the 03's?) :D

p.s., it's p.s. not ps. :lol: What are you a school teacher. Last time I checked we're not getting graded on spelling. So he may have hit the "a" instead of "e" the wold isn't gonna stop spinning. If you're so hung up on correcting everyone go to club Si, I'm sure there are way more mistakes on there. lol. Take lightly I'm just messing around. ;)
