I know the Monte Carlo car is the 05 car, but did they homologate the 2006 car or are they still using the 2005 car with an 06 front and "ghetto altezza" tail lights.

Atkinson was the only one in an '05 car on Monte Carlo, and he wasn't nominated to score points. Petter's and Serrazin's cars were both '06 models.

You're right. The last major rally that a Subaru won was the Big Horn Rally back in September won by the Trinder's in their 1995 Subaru WRX RA . . . oh sorry, you were talking about WRC.

well whenever they win one someone post it here as w/no speedvision no can see. Lots of positives for winning, the big one to me is that I'm hoping it will encourage Tamiya to make a model kit of the new Impreza with new nose.

Actually, Pat Richard and his co-driver/sister Nathalie won the Lake Superior Pro Rally in a Subaru in late October 2005, which clinched the Rally America championship for Pat. It wasn't an official factory team, technically.
Ken Block of SRT USA should have won Sno*Drift, but had problems very late in the rally. Travis Pastrana ended in 3rd. So they've been close. Expect to see SRT USA on the podiums for the rest of the 2006 Rally America series.

You're right, of course. I have absolutely no idea why I typed that. 3rd place was held by another Subaru -- Tanner Foust piloted his PGT WRX to that position.
