Where'd you get your Sparco seats from? part 1

mav1c 05-09-2006 09:23 AM

Where'd you get your Sparco seats from?
I'm getting Sparco Evo's and looking for a place that has them in stock for a decent price. To all those that have Sparco seats, where'd you get them?

Thanks

speedwaremotorsports.com should have them.
platypus 05-09-2006 11:10 AM

subesports should have whatever you're looking for, but you may have to call them and not just rely on the website. When I was shopping for an Evo3 (yes, I'm fat) they had it in stock, but not listed on the site.

Great deal.

I got a good deal on some Pro2000's last month from www.lildevilmotorsports.com

Yeah. I actually wanted the Pro 2000's, but the shoulder belt holes are too low.

Yeah...I noticed they are a little low after I bought them.

I'm 6'4", but I still think they will work, I'll just have to mount the harness bar a little lower.

Does anyone on have any experience with Demon Tweeks? I've heard *rumors* that ordering from them and paying the shipping and fees to get everything into the country still comes out cheaper than buying from most vendors in the US. I've got a biiiig purchase to make (seats, full suit, harnesses, etc.) in the near future and am just wondering who's gone through them and how it worked out for you.
corey_dyck 05-10-2006 10:16 AM

A friend just ordered two seats from Demon Tweeks. After $ conversion/shipping/taxes/duties, it was about 10% cheaper than the selling price from most US dealers. You would also have to pay shipping from the US dealers on top of their selling price.

Shipping took 3-4 weeks.

I'll be ordering from them soon.

Tim, how long did they take to arrive?

I ordered mine August 10, they're not here, and Dante is not answering my email, and his phone number is temporarily not in service :(

edit: Nevermind, found him. He says he's been having issues with the mail server. The number on my invoice is wrong; the real number is: 949-292-9109. Ignore :)

Took about 3 weeks to get mine. Maybe a little more. Don't remember exactly, but I know it was a while.

I think they are a dealer for Primm Racing :)
Butt Dyno 09-29-2006 11:50 AM

Don't buy anything from Primm. He still hasn't contacted me or sent my money back.

Once it's resolved I'll post details in the vendor review forum.
