Wingless RS Pics

I was lookin' at my RS the other day and when I covered up my wing the car actually had a pretty sleek look to it. I'm not normally a wingless kinda guy, but I was just curious to see if anybody had some pics of their wingless RSs. GC8 RSs at that.

Puckavali (sp?) had his silver RS coupe wingless for a wax, and w/ the porsche turbo looking wheels, I thought it looked pretty sleek. There are also pics of an RS owned by.... martin, i think.... and it looks pretty dang nice, silver w/ 98 goldies. I have the pics on my computer, but I'm lazy. :)

So then speaken of a 98 RS say I can get a 98 RS 2.5 for 4k with 151k miles and a bad header and need of exaust is it a good deal? I know it dunt belong hear but hey I needed to ask! Test drive is tomorow.

If you are doing a motor swap, hell yea. You get the body for $4k, and a superb swap (motor, suspension, hell seats even) for $10k, and you have a $14k sweet ass ride.

A wingless RS needs to be lowered and have some rear spats or a lower rear bumper along with side skirts and a front lip. Otherwise it just looks like an L.

Well the rest of her is ok minus some paint chips and a bad drivers seat. The guy I'm getten it from was a ex-army recuter dude but the thing is is he was a large man so the seat is not good but its fixable.

Wingless definitely requires something more than stock. Spats/lip/whatever as long as it compensates for the lack of a wing.

I go wingless every winter. I take the spoiler off because it makes going threw carwash less of a nightmare.

I guess the wingless look works only if you are lowered and have your side skirts painted to match with the rear spats.
