We have a two driving shoes coming out next year in Subaru colors (a yellow/blue and a solid blue). The development time for colors/models is anywhere from 6 to 18 months...so, we have been focused just on the performance driving shoe for this market, but not much else. Maybe once we have a longer term deal with Subaru, then we can develop more products (not just shoes) for the Subaru community.

Sold! I am been anxiously awaiting to see what the DC driving shoe looks and feels like. I've been wearing a pair of Parlays just because they're blue (and they look good), but they don't double so well for driving.

Hey Ken - any chance of sneaking my 12 year old son in???? kidding!

I guess I will have to miss it - since I can't really leave him in the hotel alone.

Ooohh, Can't wait for these to come out. Good Luck at X-Games.
Blbil 07-28-2006 11:36 PM

Ah crap! if I was on the west coast I'd go to this! Good luck at the X games too, will definitely be watching. ( Rally on ABC  , never though I'd see that)
subyfanatic 07-29-2006 12:18 AM

No love for the East Coast? The games have been to Bangkok, Kuala Lampur, Seoul, and Dubai.
Wassup with that? :p
psg 07-29-2006 12:38 AM

The X-Games actually originated in the New England area. The first one was held jointly in Rhode Island and Vermont, and the second one was exclusively in Rhode Island.

I miss street luge [but I'll take rally instead, any day of the week].
Scoobyslack1 07-29-2006 12:48 AM

Thanks for thinking of the subaru fan base...I'll be here in middle america trying to get my car running, good luck w/the race.

It must be an honor to be driving with such a group as that.

The honor is INCREDIBLE! Travis and I both appreciate (VERY much) where we sit in this situation. Hell...we get to hang out with McRae for a week, go testing with him for two days, race against him, then go to parties later in the week with him and the other peers from our sports...ridiculous. He is an idol to both of us. I am more nervous about all this than I have about any event in a really long time!

F150 (I rode my dirt bike 3 times a week before I got deep into rally...I don't ride much anymore because I am too afraid of getting hurt...no WAY I would want to risk missing a rally!)

06 STi at the Mtn.Lab in Utah (slightly beat up from practicing on the mountain roads getting ready for Sno*Drift earlier this year)

But...MB CLS55 on the way (done late August). Painted flat black. It will be featured in Rides Magazine in approx. 3 months.

Other cars...One Lap STI and the team rally car. :)

Nice collection!
scoobyRx 07-30-2006 12:07 AM

I signed up for your party, hopefully I'll be able to make it as I'll be out there all week after I work the stages on wed.

Where'd those Gumball cars end up?

The black one is sitting in the VTCar shop. Not sure what we are going to do with it.

The blue one is headed to LA for the HIN contest. It will be given away in a few months. Contest details will be up on HINCity.com soon.

The white one...ssshhhh...it's the car I used for One Lap (with a few mods and new graphics).

Is Chris Komar your motor assembler? Do you know where I can find full spec sheet on your cars motor?
KBlock 07-30-2006 09:09 AM

Komar is one of the mechanics of the rally team. I am not sure if he is the motor assembler for those engines.

Here's the published specs of those cars:

You guys are using Crawford s/b (S2)!!!! How are they holding up?

Man, what a surprise....
Ahzlon 07-30-2006 09:24 AM

Hey Ken, you guys possiably gonna hold a small pre or post x-games party at the VSC site?
KBlock 07-30-2006 11:20 AM

Hey Ken, you guys possiably gonna hold a small pre or post x-games party at the VSC site?
No, we are not doing a pre party...and no idea about a post party besides the one in LA. The cars were all put on a transporter last Monday and the team and cars all arrive to LA today. Tomorrow and Tuesday are test/practice days and Wednesday is the actual stage part of the race.

Travis and I have yet to drive our new cars...tomorrow is going to be the first time (and, first time McRae will even see his car in real life).

I am actually getting nervous...this is going to be a crazy week!
