Nice setup, but not feeling the 52mm in the pod.
Yeah, after installing them I wish I would have sprung for the 60mm. Oh well!
Thaddy, how much did those run you? It looks good.
I bought the whole package from Mach V, ended up costing less than $500 for everything, including shipping.

EDIT: Im thinking of moving the EGT to where the Oil Pressure is (ATi Pod, Center Slot), and moving the Oil Pressure down to the AC Vent to get rid of the A-Pillar. As it sits, I have no spot to mount a GPS without either being right on top of the passenger airbag or blocking a good amount of view.

Why not put it to the right of the A pillar? It doesn't look like the pod would interfere too much. I have my gps in that location and its really good as far as visibility goes. I have some pictures here: http://www.cgbagne.com/wrx/?p=35

I used to always put my GPS next to the a-pillar, but the lower cup on the pod makes that impossible.

Defi White Racer Gauge in the WRXtra custom OE pod.
The 52mm Defis are just a tiny bit too big for the WRXtra pod, they are really crammed in there. The top of the pod doesn't quite fit perfectly with the dash, and I adjusted it to be the best it could be. I could probably make it fit a bit better with some dremel work, but I didn't' feel like it after finishing this gauge install (PITA). Maybe later....
However, it fits well enough for me to be pleased and looks pretty darn good if you ask me. :disco:

Thanks!! I got the gauge pod from ScoobyTuner.com. Its a modified version of the OEM gauge pod that holds 52mm gauges instead of the Lamco 48mm gauges. The gauges themselves are made by Omori specifically to match the 02/03 yellow needles, but I'm pretty sure they stopped making them. I lucked out and bought some of the last ones that Thaison at J-Spec Tuning had left. Definitely hit him up and see what they can do, but I'll be suprised if you can find them new anymore. Might have to look for some used ones. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I appreciate the compliment. PM me know if you have any more questions about my setup.

Very good ideas. If I was going to do a full on race build Id mount my gauge where the clock is. Otherwise somewhere simple will do where no drilling is necessary.

I started out with Prosports, but I quickly got sick of the inaccuracy and reliability. I didn't have very high expectations for them, but I figured I'd give them a try since they were cheap. Big mistake.
I decided that I wanted some quality gauges that I could trust, so I went with Maddad Ultras. Huge improvement. They match the factory cluster almost perfectly, and best of all, they are accurate. I wish I had gotten these in the first place. If anybody wants 52mm prosport boost, egt, and oil pressure, let me know.

That looks pretty decent. The colours all match nicely.

ya i did it myself i just cut out the opening where the clock goes. had to make it a little bigger and then find a good way to mount it in there.
