Yes, it's a voltmeter. Bought one on eBay for like $12 shipped.
| I WANT AN STI | 04-09-2011 07:38 AM |
just finished it up last nite. crappiest gauge pod ever. made by Autometer. very low quality which took me by surprise cause I like autometer stuff normally. The little shade covers came with my gauges, not the pod. Ill be getting a new gauge pod sometime soon. But this will do for now.

boost gauge and i havent connected the oil pressure gauge yet
can someone please pm me a tutorial how to connect the oil pressure gauge i cant find it anywhere :/
Look for some of my posts in this thread and others. I have some good pictures of where the oil galley plug is and the tools you'll need to install the sensor.
If you are going to use a filter adapter, prosport has a film tutorial on their site.

Please post some pictures. I was thinking about getting them before I decided to go with Omori gauge. Didn't like the fact that boost gauge comes with cheap plastic tubing...

Arguments come in when it comes to 3 gauges, but 2 is pretty straight forward, wide-band and boost.

heres my setup in my bugeye nothing really special just hks db rs limeted boost, and oil psi gauge on the right and innovate lc-1 wideband far left. hoping to do a sti 6 speed swap here within the next month or so. so once i do that im going to be doing the turbo swap that i have so the top three gagues from left to right will be exhaust gas tem, boost, oil psi. then im either going to make a custom pod for the wideband, or get the factory boost gauge pod on the steering column for it. other then that the only other thing i did was flush mount the turbo timer next to the cup holder. and thats is a ati tripple gauge pod

Nice work, I only have once criticism. The numbers refresh WAAAAAY too fast. Can you set the refresh rate to about 1/2 second? There's no way to even visually read the boost or pressure numbers. It just looks like a blurr. Otherwise, nice design, very well done.

The sweep is being dampened, but the numeric is not. But the numeric can be damped to the same time period or to a different period as needed/desired...

So which one fits well? looking for about $100... Does the http://www.fastwrx.com/dugadabe.html fit well?
I have that one. Had it installed for nearly 2 years and that one fits fine, nothing will ever be OEM quality, but I am please with it.
