The 60mm gauges look AWESOME in that pod. I read somewhere that someone heated up the pod with a heat gun and used a bottle to expand the holes, but your version turned out nice too. And do I spy a little red LED in the hole next to your oil pressure gauge? Warning light of some kind?

Thanks!
I tried the heat gun method to the best of my abilities and just could not get it to work. It was taking to long so I said screw it and did it the way shown.
The red LED is in fact a warning light... A cop warning light  ..... Its for a in-dash K40 radar system.

Current center console with color modded VDO clock. The VDO clock has a nice black shield on the inside to prevent washout of the gauge. The prosports don't and a lot of light reflects around the gauge face. I think the next time I open these up I'll make a similar shield for them.

Here's a writeup I did:

You can see it off to the right side in this pic:

What it's a thin walled plastic cylinder with a small lip. Once the guts are placed inside the shield is dropped in, the plastic face put on top of that, and then the metal ring is crimped around the outside. It blocks light coming around the gauge face so you don't get the halo effect.
Black: Gauge Body
Blue: Gauge Guts
Red: Shield
Green: Plastic Cover
Purple: Metal trim ring
Yellow: Light leaking around gauge face

I like the s204 HVAC knobs, is there a more convenient place to get them CONUS? Japanparts might take a while.

Mine too, fits like crap. Had to add a strip of leather piping to the right side edge, where it meets the center console, to fill the huge ass gap. The finish around the edges was garbage, too. like someone cut it out of the mold with scissors or some ****. Had to take a file to all the edhes to make them smooth and consistant so there wasnt any gaps when it was installed. And the screws and brackets on the bottom... what a joke. Sent Autometer a strongly worded letter, still havn't heard back from them. I wouldn't pay $30 for the part, let alone the $85 I paid.

My Gauges
Here's my gauge set up so far. I didn't like the idea of not having a clock either so I got the Nordskog Clock and it looks great!
This Pic is sort of bright as I don't have a very nice camera

And this one is way too dim:

It took 4 hours cause i refused to take the top dash piece off, and my hands aren't exactly small. I don't like that i have to look down to see my boost, so im going to put the fuel pressure gauge there. Eventually. I cut up the air vent and used it as my gauge pod.

Usually, for best results, Boost pressure, Exhaust Temp, Oil pressure, and Oil Temp are the best starting and helpful setups.
