That's what I did on my 07 for all my wires but in 08 they did away with that pass through.

I laugh so hard looking at the pics in this Thread, 99% of the cars have a half tank of gas or less and 50% of them are at a 1/4 tank or less.. When I post my pics once I get my JCS- triple pod I am sure I will fall under the half tank club myself.. All great setups so far love all the pics..

The airbag pushes the a pillar towards the glass. The same way it does the oem pillar. The only downside to the jcs pod is the paint bubbles under high heat.

That's a shame about the bubbling. I thought the plastic was actually colored before being molded. That wouldn't hold up well down here in the summer I suppose. Guess I might look into the vent gauge pod if I want another gauge.

That is the problem JCS pods. Both of mine bubbled in the summer and eventually cracked where the pod was molded to the pillar. This why wrapping the pillar is the way to go IMHO. You get the form factor and none of the issues I described.

I have three 60mm one year production limited edition Defi Advance C2's (blue) that just showed up... also a 52mm Innovate LC-2 (blue), and I'm getting another 52mm Defi Advance BF (blue)
I can't really post yet because I'm doing a JDM V7 STi dash swap in my JDM S/tb Forester... I am going to be changing all the dash lights blue, as well as getting a ProDrive gauge cluster (which I'll change the lights to blue in also). The 60mm Defi's will be going in an ATI dash pod & the 52mm gauges in an SMY cluster pod.
Should be sick when I'm done.
JCS Pods--highest quality pillar gauge pod setup I've ever purchased :D Yes/No? Yes it's hardwired to a fuse tap that comes on with the ignition. No, it is not hardwired to constant on--though it can be and use accelerometer data to wake up and start recording.
How does it compare to contour or gopro in terms of video?
Jcs pods do tend to bubble. Use a sub shade in the summer. Great pod but the paint will bubble. I'll text you pics if you like.

Why doesnt aem make a gauge that matches perfect with their wideband :sadbanana: and their truboost has the aem logo near the top of the gauge instead of low like the wideband, why??!?
I think it's just the glare that make them look different. And the boost gauge seems to have a slightly more sensitive light sensor so it'll dim more than the wideband during the day

I just confirmed that the AEM logo on the boost gauge definitely has a different shade of yellow than the wideband. I never noticed it until now, and I've had this setup for 2 years.

Thanks. I wish I had done some step by step photos but of course I didn't... It was a simple project though. I used some trimmed 2" pvc street elbows and glassed the shape of the cluster hood for the base. More glass, Bondo and paint after that was all that was needed.

Ditched my custom A pillar triple pod in my Forester with crappy Pro Sport gauges and added this ATI E pod for my new AEM boost gauge. I moved my center console mounted AEM A/F gauge to go with it.

To all those who say the ATI E pod won't fit. It does, one section is off by about 1/4th of an inch but is not noticeable and only minor mods are required to make it snap to the bottom Forester section. Takes all of 5min to mod the clips with a pocket knife. Below is the only view you can see where it doesn't light up 100%.

My other replacement gauges. Tried some Glow Shift oil temp and pressure gauges. These seem to be way nicer than the Pro Sport gauges.
