Why? While the bracelets are obnoxious and many wear them as a fashion statement the livestrong foundation has done quite a bit for cancer sufferers and survivors. I can deal with the douchey bracelets for that fact alone.

I'm sure you'd feel differently if your friends and family could not work because their job was destroyed or even worse your close friends and family were killed or missing. No one is telling you to donate. Some of us are a little better off then others financially and can afford to give away some money to try and help out people in need.
