please folks, im asking for you to answer a simple poll, why must you waste my time and your time to do this stupid stuff. It takes 30 secs or so to post a stupid reply, why not spend your time wasting it on something else, other than my time.

there are more than a few ways to do vinyl and have it looks tasteful. personally i hate a lot of graphics, i think it clutters up the clean lines of a car. i have 2 small decals, one on each back, side window of my car and the vinyl matches my paint. i think that's enough... simple.
if you are putting stickers on your paint and you want them to stick out, get them done in the same color as your wheels. if you want them subtle, get them in metallic blue but have it a shade or two lighter than the paint, kind of a ghost like effect.
if you are putting them on the windows only, get them as close to your paint color as possible.

Matt - no vinyl wasnt one of my options up there, or atleast i didnt put it nor see it up there. So why not do me a favor and please dont post? Same thing for the rest of you guys, if "your" option isnt listed, just please dont post, asking nicely here.

sarcasm. Everyone here isn't ignorant, much the opposite. You just don't like the fact that nearly everyone thinks your choice is a bad one. You asked for advice, you got it. You just didn't get the advice you wanted to hear. You might as well have asked about neon light kits. Neither is very popular with the Subaru crowd. :rolleyes:

No i didnt ask for advice really, just to answer the poll. Its really simple, follow my step by step instructions for dealing with thi skind of situation:
1. Look down the "Interior & Exterior Modification & Care" section.
2. Locate the topic regarding vinyl.
3. If you are interested in vinyl, decide to answer the poll (if stated) or see what information has to be offered click the thread.
4. Check the appropriate color of the vinyl you prefer. If none, press the back button on your browser, and worry no mroe about the situation.
5. If the author of the thread, asked for the public opinion on whether to do vinyl or not, then offer advice on that. If not, then dont.

Oh and i forgot to mention why i dont like people just be ingorant. Its contagious. When someone sees one person having fun by being rude, they want to get in on it also. so then this results in many people trying to be funny, rude, or just have fun at someone else's expense. When it all could be avoided so much more easily.

I promise, im over it, it just amazes me how people are. You are on a public forum that is NOTORIOUS for people who hate vinyl. Vinyl, other than racing purposes, is looked at as a very ricey thing to do.
The main problem people here have is that we don't want to watch Subaru's go the same route as Hondas and Neons and the like. We like to think Subaru can be innocent in regards to rice. When you ask this question, fully knowing what to expect after reading through the site, you are going to get flamed. The only fault is your own.
Unless you are racing/rallying, going to put WRC decals and make a WRC replica, or doing it for any other purpose except doing it to attract attention and to "look cool", you will get flamed.
To be absolutely serious, about 1 year ago I had blue sideskirts on my Silver RS. At the time, I had the same mindset as you, "It's my car, it's what I want to do." After a few months, I realized my horrid mistake. I realized the only reason I did it was to gain attention and to "look cool." Don't do it man, you'll look back in a year and think "that was a great decision not to put stickers on my car of companies that I'm not sponsored by." If you do put stickers on your car, you will be given a roll of the eyes by the common driver, and you won't be able to post your car on NASIOC without what exactly happened above, happening.
It's more trouble than it's worth. If you truly want to put stickers on your car, go look through a couple of the members car gallery stickies and find ones in your color, there are a few.

Dude...it's your car. Ignore the vinyl nazis here on NASIOC. If you want to put vinyl on your car, do so. It IS your car, after all.
If you want some ideas, stop in the Texas regional forum and look for glilly (Greg Lilly). He owns Underground Graphics in Houston, and he's done some very tasteful vinyl work, IMHO. Perhaps he can send you some sample pics for you to look at.

Hey folks i got a really great idea. Anyone familiar with that game Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3? Well you can paint your own car and add stickers and vinyl. So i bought (in the game), a blue wrx (too bad no 04s). I got some gold rims and gunmetal ones. Then i put vinyl on the car the way i thought would look good. Well the gold looked the worst imo. And the light blue, dark blue, and the gunmetal all looked the best. So im going to decide on those three. ill have my friend do a sample of each and see how that goes, but we'll see. you guys really need to get that game!
