Respraying the car, what color??

Whats going on everyone? I currently have a stage 4+ silver 04 wrx with black legacy gt wheels but its got some dings and dents and scratches so ive decided to get the body straight and respray it for summer. Im thinking champion white from honda, as im hopefully going to acquire a set of blue volk te-37s and i think they would look stunning on a white car. Also canning the wrx spoiler for the carbon fiber mines one, rs hood, jdm rear lip kit, painted side skirts, and a front lip of some sort. Just wondering others opinions and maybe pictures of your custom paint schemes.
Thanks

I'd save myself some headaches and not change the color. Too much extra work involved in changing the color of a car, at least in doing it well. But I am very lazy and hate doing bodywork, with the exception of spraying on color. Respray in silver.

btw if you wanna trade ur HOOD for a RS hood...let me know...

im gonna be doing the bodywork with a buddy of mine, he is gonna be doing the spraying and im not worried about changing the color. Everything but the engine bay is gonna sprayed, im gonna wait till i pull the motor to spray the engine bay. The hood has some dings in it from playing in the mud and snow, but ill let you know.

you should do a pearl white. I think Lexus makes a nice one, as does Cadillac.

I was thinking cadillac also^^what about that ferrari silver. this way you dont have to spray the door jams and engine bay...

like i said its kinda dinged in a few spots not really fixable because its aluminum, but if your interested i can get some pics. Its just a basic white from photoshop, it will look a little different when painted for real.

A different color will hurt the resale value. Keep a different color in mind, but wait to buy the paint until you're done hand sanding the exterior. If you still feel like removing all the weatherstripping and hand sanding down the door jams.. buy the white/aqua/pink/fuscia/etc paint that you want.

Respraying an entire car requires a lot of labor to begin with. ....doing it in a different color is even more intensive (if you want it to turn out right). Either way, I hope it works out for you. be sure to post up pictures afterward. :)

I wouldn't do a different color unless you're going the spare no expense route and do the engine compartment and get a good professional job. Else you probably will lose value in the vehicle.... no one wants a nice car boogered by an Earl Scheib $500 paint job.
If you are will to pay the $$$... then the suggestion for blue rims on white sounds like a pretty nice combination.

three words: steel blue mica.

I went down to my buddies body shop and looked through the books. I came down to Anthracite from bmw, urban grey from hyundai, champ white from honda, titanium grey from jaguar and chorshire (sp?) white from rolls-royce. Everything but the engine bay will be painted, that will be done when its pulled out.
