So how does that make this thread WTLW?
The only way that would be possible is if you knew that they'd signed Burns, and posted about it before wrc.com, rally-live.com, or even SWRT.com.....

Nicky Grist let some thing slip in an after Finland rally part as it being a done deal. Him and Colin got a little drunk and thing were said. And, don't both me with how I hear this.

Dont think so.
I was at the after rally party in Finland, Colin wasnt there, Nicky Grist spent all night drinking with Derek Ringer.
Two days before Burns deal was anounced, Richard was testing at the rally school forest owned by the higgins family in wales, he stayed the night after testing at the same place as me (i was there with my brother, his birthday pressie) rather than go home, so probably went from there direct to banbury to sign the deal. That would make more sense than to drive down south then back up north again.

Boo-ya! Thanks John....our man on the scene
by the way....do you know Richard Squire from the old i-club? I was wondering if old squire still had his 22b and rs200? He doesn't visit the board anymore and I rarely see him post on scoobynet.

Yep, i know Richard. Last time i spoke with him the 22B was still in the UK, he has sold the RS200.
| ANZAC_1915 | 08-29-2003 04:01 AM |
I had a beer with him in Sydney last week.
The RS200 is indeed gone, and the 22B is not yet in Australia, though plans are afoot.
I believe he is about to buy a Silver Aussie STi.

Yeah Squire, good to see you back! You were one of the main influences in me getting a GC8 back in the day ;) I bet you don't miss the PNW in the slightest eh? You must post pics of your latest beastie too :D

Watcha mean :p ;)
<------ I'll have you know that I'm a newbie
Don't have any pics of the new STI.. just imagine an American STI but with the steering wheel on the correct side ;)
The one thing that i do miss about the PNW is all the good friends that i made there. Certainly don't miss the winter weather.. ;)

Oh Richard, I just mean that at least you're not one of the bandwagon STi owners. You've been in the community for a long time now, and you're a 22B owner. Most n00bs don't even know what a 22B, RB5 or P1 are! Have you browsed the STi forum yet?
As for me, I miss the PNW as well. I didn't live up there, but I love going up there, hanging out with Jamie and the boys. :disco:

Squire used to have a pretty mean Black RS coupe too...wonder who got that one? I miss the rallycrosses of the PNW...we don't do many of those 'round here. Its all tarmac events in this valley  :D
Got's to get that 22b out of the UK and into OZ, I'm sure Simon still takes good care of it..........while wearing yet another set of tires. Those vids of him drifting it and e-brake parking were great

Simon has and had nothing to do with the upkeep of Richards 22B, he only drove it at Bruntingthorpe the day of the vids.
