I would think since they have done a few rallys already they would have a good idea how long it takes to edit and what not.
But the rally did run at least 55mins late if not more I lost connection to wrc radio and couldn't get it back. So maybe they didn't have time?

SPEED sucks! Some of us had our TIVO programmed to record the broadcast. SO now I have a half hour of crap, and an uncompleted recording of leg 1.
That's okay I say to myself, they always rebroadcast the previous nights leg @6:00pm EST the next day! I'll record it then.
But guess what? Now that broadcast got pre-empted too!! They just plain old cut right into the WRC broadcast so we could all enjoy the very important practice for the Winston!

They are obviously having problems with the feed from Argentina and hav'nt got the edits done in time. We should all be down on our knees thanking them for airing the WRC series and repeating each day's stages several times. The market it small and they could pull the plug at any time.
