Then she realized it was not an STi and looked towards the Nukabe guys.
Indeed the ladies have much love for Cusco; But believe me.. I don't need a pregnant girlfriend! I already have a pregnant wife at home! :)
+1 to Ross (spazegun) for letting me borrow his back seat so I could sneak into Street class after my race tire failure after the first practice session on Saturday. Just for clarification, the tire failure was not a fault of the tire manufacturer, Nitto. I believe the bead was broken during installation. Thank goodness it didn't give out in the Nurburg corner.
Congratulations to Alex from DSG for the overall Street win. I am still in complete disbelief! 3 seconds faster than your nearest competitor (me)! I know my Eagle F1 GS-D3 weren't optimal, but 3 seconds is still a huge margin. Way to go!
I'll have videos up on my site in the next week. I'll post up here as a reminder then.
On a final note, I had a great time at this event dispite many challenges that we had to overcome. The Redline staff was friendly and accomodating, the event stayed on schedule, and the event had an exciting environment with spectators and photographers lining the race track. I'll be back for more!

Very cool track. I was there on Sunday taking pics. I'd post them, but I need 5 forum posts first. :( There's a link to my site in my profile.

CONGRATS JAMES!!! i can see it now, you and your child shopping for a helment when they are less than 2 year old! haha, i think recaro also makes 4pt baby seats :)
As for the seat, no problem at all, but next time I'll charge you a set of coilovers or something ;) It was the least i can do after all the help you and chad were at the last event. I'm glad that you drove the sti, you must have done one hell of a job, as those tires are not ment for the track!
still congrats on the child :)

Thanks Ross. I'm sure I'll be picking up one of those Recaro baby seats, because the STi is the only 4 door my wife and I own!
Video is now available on my site. I experimented with a camera mounted to the rear window in some of the clips and the audio turned out bad. I much prefer the perspective from the grill. In the Montage video you catch a glimse of the AMS Evo, JIC S15, and a seriously fast Evo 2 from Dent Sport.

To the redline people:
Can you post your results in something other than flash files? Or does it automatically spit out that way or something?

James, awesome videos. You really know how to represent sponsors well. I should take notes on that for sure.
Tristian, great pics! I'm jonesin to go to CA but that's some big money. My car is down right now, literally stripped to the shell for a roll cage install that we're working on at the shop. Hopefully next year we can have a Redline event in New England. I'm sure we can draw a huge croud.

We're working on next years schedule right now. We're planing on at least three event in the East at least. We're looking at Mid-Ohio, Summit Point (maybe both tracks) and the third is still undecided, but we're looking for the best tracks to have our Time Attacks at.

well The crossroad (me, josh, and kevin) contingent will be at all the east coast events :-D
If i can make a DE at Mid ohio before the TA, I'll be there as well.
but my vote is for a track up near the DSG guys ;)

I vote NHIS.
| dentsport | 08-16-2006 12:50 PM |
Second for NHIS.
Plenty of garage space and parking
great track, techincal and fast
Good restaurant nearby that can accomidate everyone for the afterparty on Sat night also.

Another for NHIS.
I am highly unlikely to come to an event anywhere else except maybe Limerock.

This is a video of me cresting the hill and going into the carosel. Taken from the bridge. I should have some in-car video once i get some more hard drive space.

Yeah, we're tossing around LimeRock or VIR..... LimeRock will cater to more of the folks further North and East.... VIR has great history and is a wonderful facility... argh!
It might just come down to which one is willing and able to give us a weekend date during the months we need them (May - Early October)

Do what you can. I really think if you are doing summit (twice maybe) you my want to do a track thats not so close. the DSG and others drove 11ty billion hours to get to summit.
However, anyone comming from the south would need to drive 11ty billion hours to get to lime rock.
Either way, I'm sure most of the east coaster's would come to either.
