Looking forward to seeing you there.

Oh, and by all means, bring your best game. I've got mine packed already!

Corey #89 STS
Sideshowbob 06-22-2005 02:42 PM

I will just be happy to be there watching, cant afford to run this year.
KC 06-22-2005 03:09 PM

I'll be there in BS. :)

Josh, you need to pick 2 of those numbers. You can't have a 3 digit number unless you're a co-driver (and you need to register online before it fills up).

[napoleon d.] Lucky [napoleon d.]. They looked awesome at the Toledo tour.
Imprezivblue 06-22-2005 04:15 PM

I thought about stopping at home in NY on my way up to Mass from VA - but i'm thinkin its a better idea to stay down here as i'll get my butt kicked in STS in my underprepped RS in Peru the weekend before :p Why have it happen two weekends in a row?
CamaroFS34 06-22-2005 04:34 PM

I'm still thinking about Devens...... if I go, I won't have a free weekend until August.... hmmmmm....

Karen

KC 06-23-2005 10:34 AM

That Tom Hoppe guy... he's a *****. Gimp's driving up from SC.
solo-x 06-23-2005 10:39 AM

aw, come on tom! drag your slow butt up here so i can mop the course with it. remember all that talk last year about sending the head on my motor out to get freshened up? well, i 0wn3z j00r 60' n0w b3300tch!

nate - not sure how a fresher motor > AWD + b00st... maybe it's really just the stickers that matter!
Sideshowbob 06-23-2005 11:57 AM

Is there another prereg besides www.myautoevents.com ?
CamaroFS34 06-23-2005 11:58 AM

Last time I went to Devens, I ran FSL, was slow, slow, slow, got to watch Sammy lock his keys in his car and we fought to break into the Camaro (his blue one!) for 90 minutes.... and then there is NE traffic....

drivrswntd 06-24-2005 12:53 PM

KC 06-28-2005 09:26 AM

*bump*

Looking good. Going to be 10 compeitiors in elises in SS with another 9 in Z06s. This is going to be a fun class to watch!
eclip5e 06-28-2005 03:14 PM
yes you can
do I need a rulebook?
KC 06-28-2005 03:27 PM

You should have one at registration.
Corey 06-29-2005 09:57 AM

OK, for those of you travel through NYC regularly...

What is the best way to get around/through the city with a trailer? I'll be coming from PA and I pretty much have to go through NYC to get there.

Corey #89 STS
KC 06-29-2005 10:07 AM

287 over Tappan Zee then 684N to 84E to 90E to 290N in Worcester to 190N to 2E.
Corey 06-29-2005 10:09 AM

Thanks much!

Corey #89 STS
KC 06-29-2005 10:14 AM

287 is a better run towing than having to deal with going through the city and staying on 95. You could get lucky timewise through NY on 95, but 287 is usually the least hassles, but adds time.

--KC
solo-x 06-29-2005 04:15 PM

+1 for kc's directions. skips a lot of that crappy CT drive too, which can be as bad as NYC sometimes.
You should have one at registration.
can i borrow yours?

well actually to a yet to named miata but i'll be there.
KC 07-07-2005 07:45 AM

Bada BUMP!

If you plan on coming friday, bring your rain gear. It's a gonna be WET.
Corey 07-07-2005 08:01 AM

Oh yea... my wife is going to LOVE that. The first time she tags along to a tour this year and it's gunna rain. OK... I have to look at the bright side. - Maybe she'll agree that we need an enclosed trailer now!

Corey #89 STS
solo-x 07-07-2005 08:01 AM

hope we don't get that 2"/hr rainfall some other areas have been getting. can you say deluge at devens part 2?

GIMP ownz j00!!!

STS sucks at tours. With the soft GS PAX I should beat Nate by 2 seconds PAX and still come in DFL in GS.

KC - Better drive your car backward if it rains.

Craigs 07-07-2005 12:59 PM

picking up my dirtstockers tonight!
Sideshowbob 07-07-2005 01:36 PM

Since I am not running I was curious if there are any additional requirements or restrictions for spectators that arent imposed at a normal NER or NESCC event.
KC 07-07-2005 01:41 PM

You're not running? Why not?

No restrictions on spectators other than there will be a spectator area and if yul have a camera, have a spotter with you no matter where you are.

I'm thinking that there wil be an interesting PAX outcome this weekend that will be distorted if there's rain Saturday.

Too broke to run, if I had any money at all I would run. :(

Regardless I am gonna come and try to mentally punk Team Angrypork
solo-x 07-07-2005 02:43 PM

hrm, i thought it was the DS car in GS that was going to let you best me by 2 seconds on index....

tom must be scared of the STX honduh!

I saw your comment on SCCAForums.com about that. Why is it that you expect the ST classes to do better in Devens? Is it a lower-grip surface (like Toledo)?

Joel - wishes he was going

Three reasons:

1. Nate
2. Not Concrete
3. Nate

Did I mention Nate?

Is there a possibility of getting credentialed to travel outside of the spectator area?

Furthermore, anyone want to be a spotter for me? :D

Craigs 07-07-2005 10:31 PM

dirt stockers in da house - a shake up in CSP coming to a tour near you
Draken 07-07-2005 10:44 PM

Andrew: say your from Grassroots Motorsports and make up a fake business card. Has gotten me into plenty of press events.

I do write for GRM, but never had a press pass.

If you have a spotter, you should be able to go anywhere at an NT. I regularly wander at Nationals and ProSolos, with a spotter. Just use good judgement.

subrew
KC 07-08-2005 07:31 AM

Yep, as long as you have a spotter and the location you pic isn't someplace like... in the middle of the course on the tarmac, you're good to go. :D

They only request that you check with the safety steward of the event before you head out and start taking pics. Seeing people 'walk around' while an event is going on is a rare sight unless they're running chasing cones. :)

trhoppe 07-10-2005 10:42 AM

Looks like nate is ahead of STS with Corey in the 2.5 popping a cone on his fast run, with a couple of GTSs in there as well.

STX, the Chang Ho Kim Civic whooping up, and more importantly, beating STS.

SM, Daddio, and with the softer AS class, Donnie Barnes from Raleigh is close to the top in his AS STi. Unless something has changed, that car is completely stock except for catback and tires.
