Quick answers to few questions:
I had to "wittle" the ends on the fender side of the replicas to match the curve of the headlight/rubber, Still small (1/8") away from rubber,..No biggie
The double tape dont mean much as the hood seals the eyelid TIGHT..(Plus, even if it did come loose at least if someone "snatches" em, they will come off WITHOUT rippin your dam hood up and scratchin the paint!<G>
SAND that goofy "trimline" at the bottom even!.....Because it WILL show through the paint when your done!

NOW, Maybe I can get off my lazy arse and do mine too!!...Hee,hee

yeah i got mine from ebay... definatly replicas... it seems like they fit pretty well though. i need to paint them but for 38 bucks shipped it's not something i'm complaining about. how would you guys recommend i go about a DIY paint job? i'm trying to match an 03 aspen white.

I did my foglight covers myself and I'm in the process of doing my eyelids myself. If you got the time and the patience I'd say do it yourself.

Where did you guys attach the double sided stickey tape too?
I'm confused about that. I don't think it should go on the lights since it will be a pain to take off later on.

Yeah, i just had my friend's dad's auto body shop paint my replica eyelids (from ebay) today. They look perfect! Totally match my platinum silver. I'm going to wash & wax my car first thing tomorrow and then put on the eyelids before Hot Import Nights!!! Where exactly do you put the double sided tape? Like towards the top part that's bent? Or like by the actual signal bulb?

Tape should go on top of your headlights, where the hood touches them when it's closed. That corresponds with the flap that goes there.

Hey what size bbs RK wheels are on that black wrx? They look much bigger than the 17" ones. I thought the 18/19" ones didn't have the correct offset.
