Ravspec,
Most will prep and paint their fiberglass mirrors anyway. The same process
is easily applied to the CF finished mirriors and is done all of the time. Just
something to think about...........

Sounds like there's interest for the wrc safari mirror replicas with fogs in them :D Now you just have to find someone willing who owns one of the 5 sets to make a mold.

For realz, those things are awesome! I'd kinda rather have a driving light though, it seems like the positioning would lend itself better to something like that than a fog light. I would think you could stick a projector beam driving light in there pretty easily. (HID anyone? :devil: ) I'd be all over that.

Just to let you guys know, The fogs are completely illegal. Ive been pulled over multiple times in 3 states so far and given tickets that my lawyer friends tell me are completely valid. For some reason they never notice the missing front plate, just the glaring yellow fogs :). Sucks that I can't run them all the time, only for "offroad use" :devil: Just a warning

I can't use my FF1000's (stock fog location) when there's oncoming traffic either, but it would still be great to have some more light mounted higher up without having to resort to a light bar or something else that messes up the car's lines. I do a fair bit of late night country road driving, so the "reach out there" light is really good to have. Fog lights don't do a whole lot of good.

Boo, you guys are making the WRC mirrors (l'aunsport) I have less rare.
JK, hope these turn out well (and reasonably priced) in case I ever need replacements due to breakage, etc. People like to push/pull on the "cute/neat" little mirrors :mad:

I def think the low glare mirrors would be a big selling point for me. I can't stand when your at a light and the person behind you has his lights shinning right in your eye. I know it wouldn't defeat the glare 100%, but if it could cut it down that would be amazing. Heated would be nice as well, I can think of numorous times when that could have came in handy, but then again im probably asking for too much.

You should make them in a way that the motor from the current stock mirrors can be transplanted and reconnected. Adjustable mirrors are a bit of a pain for street cars. I'd hate to have to reach over to the passenger side and adjust the mirror that way... or worse, lower the window and have to press on it to get it right.

Theicewall im def feeling you on that. I would never want to reach out and push on them or anything. Being able to transfer the motor would be nice. Plus if they arnt motorized that little piece to adjust the mirrors will become useless.
