I don't like the version 2 lip. Those vent holes at the bottom are too angular, and they really don't go with the car at all.
Give me a version 1 lip anyday, or maybe a hybrid of the two with a single teardrop-shaped vent to match the OEM vent.

Looks great for me. I do prefer V1 but it seems V2 will be made first and I want any of these 2 badly.

OE Tuning, how hard is it to make V1 lips out of these? I assume V1 are just V2 without holes and nothing more in terms of design.

FYI. I read in this sticky thread that Qvelocity is a scam/thief.

ah forget this. I'm out.
I'm getting a UK kit instead. If I trashed the front lip for many reasons then I hope this v1/v2 lip for wagon will be available.
Good luck to all.

What I find really amazing is that its taken until now to get (yet another) list going for people looking for STi V1/2 style lips for a wagon. If someone wouldve just simply stepped up to the plate....2 years ago or so......they wouldve sold quite a few more than just a 15 batch run. Theres an entire world of impreza wagon owners looking for something besides the UK kit to market these to.
I dont get it, people have been asking/begging/pleading for this for so damn long now and theres still nothing to show for it except for another list.
I know I sound bitter and props to these guys for being the first, but come on...you're so late to the party the body style has been out of production for HOW long now?

Hey there guys, I have some good news. I've been talking to the guys at O.E. Tuning and he told me that they want to start making the mold for the version 2 lip for the wagon, but the thing is that we need some help. Right now we need someone in california with a wagon, so that we can do all the measurement and customize the current lip to fit properly so that they can start the new mold for the wagon. Let me know if you can help out and maybe you can be the first one to get this lip.
Thanks guys
Joe

I will be more than happy to help. I had another lip on the front before that was ripped off so the lower bumper has some imperfections in it. but I can take a few pictures and they can judge for themselves if it will work. I can e-mail the shot to O.E. tonight if you want. I'm in L.A. and can go to his shop this weekend or the following Monday! Let me know.

I tried to check out the oetuning site and it was gone. what's the deal? In an effort to find body mods for the wagon, I found this... In case anyone's interested: lips for the wagon can be found at the get-primitive site. Plenty of JDM mods at the Japanparts site. ANd there is always the liberal body kit if anyone has a lot of money to spend.

I forgot to mention, the STI lips at get-primitive are only $175 total! No deposit required.
