Wing are ready to send in production. Received quote for molding charge. Before we set a price for the wing, we need to know how many wings to order. The more quantity we order, the lower the cost for the wing since the molding charge per wing will be lower. I am starting a list here and for those who are serious about it, please sign your name on them !!! Email or PM me to get your name on the list !!!

After we get an idea how many to order, we will be able to calculate the total cost per wing. We are looking at around $400~$500 range depending on the quantity.

ETA should be 30 to 45 days from the day we start collecting money.

I will move this thread to the GB post and end of April, since this is not the official GB area for Nasioc !! More info to come !!

I'd buy it if it's not too expensive. and if you make sure the quality is good, I bought one of your CF lips and it broke pretty easily.

The wing won't have that problem because it doesn't have contact with the road..

It's hard to make these lip strong because weight is a concern too.

We don't know the pricing yet... but will try to keep it under $500 for CF and under $400 for fiber glass.

We haven't start the R&D phase yet, just want to see if it's worth the investment !!

We do however have the wing already ...

those are my worries.

i personally would want to have it be cf, then get it painted very lightly so that the cf still kind of shows through.

I'm positive that u would have a ton of people interested in this wing.

Just look at all the s203 threads, theres quite a demand for this spoiler.

I am definately interested, especially with the price. Besides carbon fiber would be cheaper since a fiberglass one would have to be painted, and fitting the stock wrx holes is a must IMO.

The only experience I ever had with fiberglass was with the Shine Street wing. It took the body shop several tries before the paint didn't crack. It seems the glass would get small cracks in the gel coat and it would need to be sanded down, filler added, and repainted. I have since replaced the wing with a CF one..

I'd rathe a CF and have it painted if I so desired.

We have the S202 wing in carbon fiber, and that mount right onto WRX, i will know more details once the wing arrived in my possession. ETA, first week of Jan !!

I like that you guys are doing this and I was one of the first in on the lip and I still love it but I am not crazy about the diffuser or the wing. I still beg you for a high quality hood with no scoop. You would be the only game in town on this and wouldn't have to go low on price or quality.

I can't touch the carbon fiber hood market. You got Seibon and VIS dominating the market right now !!!

Actually it's easier to make the hood. Hood is just one flat piece. Easier to produce than the lip and the wing. These required extra labor to complete while hood comes straight out of the mold and good to go...

I will be posting some pictures of the actual wing we got from Japan shortly.

If you were to make it out of carbon fiber or fiber glass won't it crack after multiple slam of the trunk (not very hard)? My friend has a replica oem style WRX spoiler that cracked next to the 3rd brake light (1 inch) after 6 months and he babie the car. I don't know about others but my WRX with spoiler trunk doesn't really want to close, you have to give it a little hard slam to it.

It's pretty easy to make them original / suitable for USDM wrx mounting. We just have to add 4 more mounting point on the deck so the leg can be adjusted. And supply the S202 leg.

but it still under consideration.

It won't crack since the deck is mounted at the aluminum leg and then the leg mounted to the trunk. It a different design from your friend wrx spoiler. The carbon piece it self don't have any contact with the trunk.

There's no 3rd brake light so what about that extra hole for standard WRX spoilers? Anyone interested would still have to find a way to address that issue.

The S202 leg covered all the extra holes in the wrx spoilers. it's the STI that need to seal the mounting holes on the trunk.

The S202 leg is different from the S203 leg. However, we might want to use the design of the S202 leg since it seals all the holes on a WRX.
