#1 looks good if you take the amber "condoms" off and go with just an amber bulb.
#2 - I don't care for the "gille" work on the inside of the lights but I do like the "racoon" look.
#3 - still not conviced that the WRC car is "pretty"

Personally, I love the look of the STi HID lights. Look @ the Canadian Rally team cars.

Can someone photochop an idea for me?
I like the Morettes the best so far, but the top line that trails off to the rest of the body... would that line look better if it "twisted up" a bit near the end of the line to connect with the right or left edge of the line that meets where the hood and the side fender meet?
Basically, the top line inside starts where the front grill top is, then its basically straight out over the two headlamps, and maybe where the line meets the outside headlamp, in the middle of the head lamp is starts to curve upwards so it meets the outside hood line.
I think it would be a simple photochop but I don't have any editing software on my laptop right now to do it. I think that would look the best...

Oh, I found an old version of Corel Photopaint on my laptop. Here's a rough idea (look at the left side of the pic, that headlight). This is really basic, Photopaint 7 + touchpoint 'mouse' aren't the best for photochopping [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif[/img]

I agree with pbnj9786 the Sti lights look the best. They're most integrated with the design of the front end, the others (except for stock) look too much like add-ons. But in the end I'll probably go with the eyebrows MichiganRS posted depending on what they look like in person.

Let me just say the JDM projectors rule still. Justice was not done to the UK300s,but they would still look better with a clear cover.

Like they say, you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. I'm used to the new body design and like the headlights. I used to think they were circular, but they really are ellipses which I think are pretty cool, and I think they're offset ellipses, aren't they?

The 2 other 3rd party light look like such ass it is unbelievable. Those are rice boy parts of the highest level, I'm surprised that APC didn't make them. Maybe if they were body colored it would look a little better, but as it stands now it looks like they're trying to make the WRX into a different car.

I would think you bought the silver since you wanted to show the lines of the car rather than hide them behind just about every other color it comes in. If so, then they are destroyed by anything that loses the basic stock look.

I like the lip spoiler. It makes the car look better and it's functional. Seems like it'll cram more air into the brake duct. Can't say the same about those headlights though.

The WRX's headlight design is cutting edge. Look at the new Q45, and the new Mercedes' for example. Admittedly the Rex's lights are startling at first glance, but their looks grow on you. To my surprise I have had many compliments on the looks of the car in general and specifically the lights. By the way, the Q45 headlamp cluster is a very expensive item. I was told that each one is around 2 thousand to replace.

I think 4 pages of which is the best headlamps is enough information. Now lets talk about where and how long before we can get them. Even though the #2 ones are outthere I want the original STi Version headlamps. If I was in Japan or Hongkong where you can buy STi models WRX Im sure they must have those headlights for sale if not what happens if someone damages his/her STi highlights? what no replacement? Thats it! Im going back to hk to find them. Wish me luck.

Morrettes. Paint them to match and make sure to buy the HID kit for them. The light intensity is amazing and the functional illumination distance with all of the lights running is tremendous. I have installed a set of PIAA Pro 80's in a driving beam in place of the factory fog lamps so with all of the lights running, it is just like driving at noon in July. So much fun!!

i think that the front end, even with the stock headlights, is much improved with a body colored lip spoiler. It helps visually balance out the front of the car. I think that the jdm lights are by far the cleanest looking. #2 is aggressive, but appears cluttered and tacked on. #3 is nice, but no turn lights. #4 is growing on me. This is all trivial if we don't know how to buy these. Are the JDM's, #3, and #4 available for the us market??? what about the sti lip spoiler in this pic!!! payce
