i spoke to FIBER IMAGES last night hoods are being manuafactured as we speak!!!!! the lady said was "holy s*** the stock WRX hoods were expensive as hell!!" so i guess we;ll be getting hoods in a few weeks!!

I wasn't expecting to get this done sooner than 2 months..but it seems that fiberimages might be working on this as we speak...so it really depends..ill find out and let everyone know

Fiber Images SUCK!!
They screwed up our CF trunk lids!!(FI carbon trunk lid GB)
F.I. said we could get the lid w/ or w/o a lock hole and then after we paid they screwed up the mold by NOT filling in the hole on the stock lid!!
So, now we All have to have one!!

I got the same feeling from them, that the GB was bulls__t, and the hood was going to cost whatever they decided. I think each and every interested party in this GB should offer them 500 (or whatever is deemed by this group fair) for a guaranteed good on arrival hood. Tell them it's the GB gone awry, and there is a group looking for a discount. If they won't come down, so be it. Deal with them on your own if you like the price.
In the future, I think the manufacturer, or the supplier actually making the deal should have to post here, to show us that this is for real. Seems like the moderators could help.
That said, the topic of this post was asking if there was interest. When prices of 500 bucks were brought up, that's when the Vendor needs to step in. They told me there was no GB authorization, and should have posted here, but hey..they did not start this. I hope they would be savy enough to take advantage of the interest here with some sort of discount.
