? Huh! it's called Canon Image Stabilization plus fast shutter speeds! :p
The Bigger problem is trying to time the shutter release at the SAME time for each car. :(

I like these shots of Mark Coleman and Max in San Diego last weekend:
jdm Pinks (Whiteline 24 mm bars?), worn 245 215's:

Cusco Coilovers, 25 mm Whiteline in front (oem rear bar?), oem 225 070's

Max was faster then Mark on his last two laps ...

Guys,
I just googled 'Stranos bar' and I got information leading to a gay bar in Ireland.

I think I was closer to the cone than Mark:D
Yes, Mako... stock rear bar. My rear wheel looks more planted than Mark's, but that could just be slight differences in car/throttle position at the time.
P.S. My face looks fat in that helmet!

... why do you think they sell Full Visor helmets! I wish Rocky would get one so I don't have to keep covering up his face ...

Judging from the pics of my car, the place it is in, and the angle I am turning in, what do you guys think? Does it lean too much and need the Strano in front? Go softer in the rear with the COBB? Anything???

Anyone have any input about how the Strano 32mm front bar is on the street? I have gotten some weird looks when telling people I am thinking about a bar that big for the front.

That's because they don't understand.
Both for yourself and z3coupe: Why don't you guys try to bar and see whether or not you like it? Sell it for a $30 loss or something if you don't and move on to a different bar. Bars have good resale value due to them not being a wear item. $30 experiment is pretty cheap if you ask me given the potential tradeoff in knowledge gain if nothing else. :)

If you are talking about ride quality you arent going to notice anything unless you are going over something the size of a speedbump with one side of the car.

I have the Strano bar on my STI and it is street driven every day. It works great. By the way Strano will answer any questions any time.

correct me if I am wrong, but the idea is to keep the front of the car as flat as possible (more tire contact=more grip) to fight understeer.

Usually it is to stay within the "stock" Solo2 classes, which don't let you change the rear bar.

That only appiles to AS.
I can change the rear bar if I want, but since the car seems to have no problem rotating, I choose (at least at the moment) to run the stock rear bar.

Bump.
Now that the 2006 season is going into full swing, are there any more driving impressions comparing the 2005 to 2006? I assume the 2006's are better prepped by now. In the local DC region, only one 2006 ran- most still have 2005's.

My 06 is a little better prepped now...
Cusco Zero 2R
Strano FSB
Cobb RSB with adjustable billet mounts
Cobb TBE
Falken 615 245/45/17
Braille lightweight battery
At the National Tour in San Diego, I sucked, but that wasn't the car's fault. The driver had a bad weekend.
The the National Pro Solo in Fontana, the car was 3rd behind Richard Jung (Evo) and Steve O'Blenes (M3), beating "Draken" into 4th:D
New wheels and tires are on order and I'm planning on attending the Atwater Tour and Pro, so we'll see how we do up there.
I'm 'usually', the top finishing Subaru at local STU events, although Tom Shepherd in his 05 is very close. Tom was the top Subaru at the Tour.

Behold the glory that is me:D
In all trurh, there is no doubt that the car would be better in the hands of a top level driver. I still have a lot to learn.
Who the heck came up with that name anyway - I think it was you Pker. You have much to answer for!!

Is the strano FSB ok to keep on a semi-daily driven vehicle (couple times a week)? Also, does it come with all the neccessary parts for install?
