I like overall clean look. The STI v1 lip is nice with the OEM rear and side skirts.
| Uncle Scotty | 11-02-2003 09:36 AM |
I just installed a CF v1 lip on my PSM and other than CF(fake) front side markers and an STi scoop, it is my only bling(so far...).
I think it looks good and it did make the car more stable above ~40mph or so, which is why I wanted it in the first place

my choice would be STi v1/v2 lip w/ C-west sides and griffin rear. THats what i hope to have eventually
| dman918 | 11-02-2003 11:49 AM |
I have a greddy front lip, stock sideskirts and griffin rear, but I find the greddy to be too low. As a result, I have a STi v2 lip on the way. I think it will look really good.

zerosports front bumper + oem painted sideskirts + efjie rear end or australian oem rear lip (impossible to find though).
the chargespeed rear bumper for the 2004 or do-luck rear end for the 2004 take the cake though overall, soooo clean... I think I might get one of these and do some custom work to fit it properly.
here's a pic of the efjie rear end.

Aqua is crap. If I didn't need the reverse hood scoop, I'd sell it in a heartbeat!
Go with C-West.
I personally will re-order the Ver 2 lip as mine died. and rear oem one w/ oem side strakes.
Here is a pic before the STi CF replica. Only missing the OEM rear bumper spoiler and side strakes:

They look very nice together.
I also like the clean look of the STI Pieces with the OEM Body kits.

I just got a hell of a deal on the Aqua Front and Rear for my car. Its not the replica either. Now I just have to find some nice sides that are on the cheaper side
Anyone have any suggestions??

They'll undersatnd it, I send them an email like a year ago when I first saw this kit. I didn't have enough money to do anything though I was just inquiring. Can't remember what they told me but when I did the currency conversion IIRC it didn't seem that bad. Lemme know what they tell you. Thanks.

I think all of that would look okay on a full blown open track car, but it's a little, actually a lot, too busy for my tastes. Too many vents, cowls, holes, ridges, ducts all over the place... that front bumper looks like a transformer... and I don't think the rear flows with the lines of the car at all. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

Factory. Period. Everything else just looks silly. To me, the whole point of a body kit is to add looks, while remaining congruous with the car's overall appearance. Most kits fail that test.

| ThaJazz | 11-05-2003 04:03 PM |
I like the Liberal kit a lot, maybe with Griffin sides. But that Liberal front fits the lines pretty well. I think the test for clean body kits is whether non-owners will notice the car looking a little different. Nothing drastic, but just a little eye-catching.

Kaminari = cleanest. I don't know why people call the STi lips "clean" nor is the OEM lip IMO.
My choice, Kaminari front, Chargespeed Type2 sides, OEM rear lip with a black center section. Now that's clean and SEXY!

Actually I would say the STI V1 lip is cleaner then the kaminari one. The version two is probably tied in my mind. I also like the Prodrive Front lip, the one that comes with the aero kit (not the one in the pictures of the silver wrx above) The wings west and c-west body kits are way to ricey for my tastes, way to big and flashy. My Favorite would be, STI version 1 lip, with painted oem side skirts, and STI side spats, the ones that go behind each wheel, and a STI grille, the smooth one with the emblem in the middle and sti on the side, not the ugly one with the big line down the middle.

I dunno... The STi lips are too flashy to me. I like the kaminari lip because in my mind it's plain, it doesn't stick out beyond the stock bodylines in the front or sides (except for with the subtle splitter at the bottom) and it doesn't go above the body lines... Both STi lips do that. Sure, they're plain looking compared to something like the WW or C-West, but they just don't appeal to me.
I like the Prodrive, but it's almost a little too plain.

dj_noose, hey nice car, is that kaminari all around? ifyou got JDM eyes for that car it would be hot. what kinda breaks do you have on that?
elixirvtec, are you saying thats not a stock factory spoiler?
Thanks for the comment. Yes, it's Kaminari all the way around. The breaks are Rotora. I didn't get the JDM eyes because that's what most people get and I like how the Morettes give it that aggressive look.

This is the most bitchin sedona red sedan I've seen to date. Very tastefully done, I'm not a huge fan of larger deck spoilers but the one you've got has a nice flow with the C-pillars. The Ociari lip kit looks sweet.
