Hey Artkevin - we came by to see your exhibit. Very nice. Hugely disappointed you weren't there. thurs around 3PM. So, we went to the RAM brewery and had beers instead. Maybe another time.
Sorry I missed you. I saw that you signed the guest book and was hoping to run into you at some point in the weekend.
Thanks for all the well wishes from everyone. The show went better then I could ever hope for. It was cool to be hooked up with Red Bull all weekend. We sat in their suites and went to their parties. It was amazing to meet so many of the helmet painters whos work I love so much at the Red Bull helmet art party. I got to meet Sid which was the highlight of my weekend. He paints/painted Fittipaldi, Barrichello, Massa and best of all Senna's helmets.
I am trying to watch all the coverage on TiVO now and I will comment later. I'm almost through the 1st 4 hours of coverage. :)

Define "hung out". I have an image of somebody hiding behind some bushes. :p

I was walking somewhere and saw McLaren parked on the street :) so I stopped by check it out take a picture etc. All of a sudden, I heard people screamnig "Mark Mark!" So I saw Webber walking out of hotel and ignoring pretending he wasn't mark just walking away. So I decided to stay and check what's happening next, that's when I saw Dennis, Briatore and Berger. No other F1 drivers.
There are no any bushes to hide :)
As far as the one stop strategy goes, it's hard to believe it would have worked. With Ferrari pitting in the mid 6's(6.5 and 6.6), Renault's in the low 7's(somewhere around there). The Silver Arrows would have had to seriously boogie during those "light laps". Not saying it wasn't possible, but not highly likely against Schumi and Co.

Their time in the pitbox may have been quick, but that's a very long pit in and out. The one stop worked well for DC, it looked like he was on a no stopper for awhile.
I managed to get into the Red Bull suites for qualifying and got to meet Speed and Klein later on. That was a good way to watch the race. :)

I was up there too. I was in suite 2 for the race and the 32-35 ones for quali.

I saw that McLaren parked in front of the Conrad, also caught the R5 painted up as an RBR02 in front of the Hilton.
I don't think anyone had Ferrari for the race, Michelin just wanted to get through the race so probably brought 04 tyres in. The fact that the rest of the Bridgestone teams couldn't really do anything is slightly embarrassing for them. Next race Renault and McLaren should be back...but I've made comments like this before and proven very wrong.

I wouldn't say the other Bridgestone teams did nothing. Trulli finish 4th and was very close to Fisi. Ralf was in 5th before the car failed.

I still wasn't very impressed. Ferrari's been off the pace and was dominate this race (specifically based on tyres I think.) Toyota was somewhat decent but Williams got passed by the Red Bull and Toro Rossa and never really did much. I think this may have been more of Rosberg's fault though, he was TERRIFIED of the walls, during qual he was giving the most space of anyone, at least 2 car widths where Schumacher and Alonso were giving mere inches.

Yeah I was happy for Vitantonio, it'd be nice to see him and Scott finish.
Anyone has close up pics of Jaques V. retire? I was standing right across from his car when he retired before all the people started gathering to see him.

We needed NASIOC ID's. I was in as a favor from a friend of a friend, so I was doing my best to stay out of the way. Did you go to the helmet art exhibit?
