Free Graphics
Hello everyone.
I am a graphics artist who recently opened up a performace online shop and even though I've been working hard, I havent finished it, but thats not the problem, exposure is. Ive been trying to get customers but its a slow process. So to speed it up here is what I will do:
I will design for you any type of body graphic that you want and e-mail you a print ready file. All you will have to do is go to a local sign shop and get it die cut on a vinyl of your choice.
(To be clear, the cutting will cost, but I'm giving you a design free.)
All I want in return is that the name Guerilla Racing and web site [url]www.GRPerformance.com[/url] get used a little more. You know, advertisement.
I know this club hosts some of the friendliest and honest people I've dealt with so I'm confident I won't get screwed over.
I've plastered my car with Tribal Art and Tribal Flames and I will post the pics as soon as I get them developed.

Do you have your own vinyl cutter? Because that is the expensive part.
the materials and the "labor"...
You should offer to have them cut at your end, and give a discount that way.
Because I know a lot of vinyl shops in my area, and they rape you when it comes time for the material and the cut/assembly... not on the artwork.
Just a suggestion.

maybe you should offer a small sticker that people could put on their cars to advertise more. just toss one in with purchases or maybe even send some out to us i clubbers :D id put one on!

Dirt Man - I do my designs in Illustrator but I can do it in Corel and Freehand. Its up to you.

trboCivic&WRX - I don't do vinyl cutting myself due to the high overhead I already have, BUT ALAS, I am in nagotiations with my ex-boss who does do it and I probably will be offering the cheapest vinyl around. Pe patient and I shall post my results.
GimpWRX - Actually, I already include decals with purchases, there just aren't many at this time.
RodsNcones - I live in Mira Mesa and thats where my business is located, but for now the shop is fully on-line. I am looking into renting a work ready mechanics shop and do a sale/install deal but its a lot of overhead for now. Oh yea, If youre here in SD, I'm trying to form a racing team, I wan't mostly Imprezas but any car with work done will do. I sponsor the driviers by selling parts for them at wholesale price and the drivers smear my logo on their car. You know the usual. If youre interested e-mail me.

Nice flash intro, I like the tunnel. I was browsing your site after findign everything was "coming soon" but I did notice your site is done all in HTML.
A little tip: It would porbably be alot quicker if you make your online store using php and MySQL if you know how to use them or have the desire to learn. It will make your site alot easier to create and update.

Ive never used php or MySql but I just got a 700 page manual to read tonight so I might start using it. But for now html and flash are it. I know there are a lot of comming soons but thats because of the manufacturers failing to send me their matrerial.

Don't take it personally, this just happens to be a slow time for club activity in general. The traffic slows down over the weekends, and I'm sure even more-so with the time of the year being what it is... Just bump the thread on Monday and you should get a broader responce.

I was wondering if anybody on the east coast could get some of the deals that you are offering the others for manu. prices. Just a thought b/c a lot of us on the east coast some times don't get the deals that people on the west do. I don't mind sporting or supporting an establishment in Cali just as long as they don't "dick" us over.
I just think that there may be a big market on the east coast for vendors like you "grassroots" to make a big impact especially since you are mostly on-line right now.

I will post your graphic requests in the next couple of hours.
Just for reference Im doing just the designs and Im not cutting or sending any decals for now. If you want something colormatching your car youll have to go to a sign shop and pic the color there.
You guys will have to wait a little bit longer to see the stuff I've done in real world use due to my digital camera being busted but dont despair, Ill have pics soon.

Exact length might be tough, but I can give you a damn close estimate. The weird N cross thing curls over the door handle, and the stripes stop what looks like about 3-4 inches from the lights. I'm thinking like a waving check'd flag fading out from the DSM tri star symbol or something to that effect.

We have been doing graphics on this club for a couple of years now and if we do not have the design and darkangelgraphix can design it he or you could send it to us and we can cut the vinyl just check our threads or the web site.

u should advertise to make business signs....like on plexiglass and vinyl that makes alot of money.....
and of course the subaru swooshes would be a very good thing to work on....if u can ge the 98 swoosh where the 555 was covered up and they made a kool lookin design because of advertising reasons
