Anyone ever try these?
This is the first I have seen of these! I am 6'9 and in a GC8, the GD was too tight even with the seat lowered. rs25.com and NASIOC have all basically said that aftermarket is the only way to go for us taller drivers. However, if I am reading the product correctly you could mount essentially any Subaru seat STI/WRX/Other you want. Also looking at the pictures it looks like the rails are extremely low rise...If anyone has these or knows of someone please post. Tall peoples necks and backs depend on it.

Big News For 'Taller Than Mosts'
Hello,
Thank you for contacting RHDJapan! Yes they will work as long as they are
full bucket seats.
According to RHDJapan the Nagisa lower rails ( http://www.rhdjapan.com/jdm-low/Nagisa-Auto-Super-Lowdown-Seat-Rail-Subaru-60541#) will work for USDM STI seat swaps in GC8+ applications. Now we just need someone to buy these things and find out if it is real. If someone wants to donate some V4/5 STI seats in my direction I will buy the rails and tell everyone how they work.

I've got 2002 WRX seats in my GC coupe, they sit way too high. I'd rather not spend $200 on rails that may or may not work for my application, so am I basically stuck modifying my stock rails?

bump - no love for GC? All I have found searching points to custom rails and nothing else. Ver8 JDM STi in a GC here, tried Ver7 JDM but still too high with helmet

<<Modified Sparco bracket to fit Recaro Speed.
So low
I'm 3 inches lower than stock and my shoulders are below the window.

^^^^^
Any info on the actual modification? Trying not to go down that route but everywhere I searched, or people I talked to, says custom rails, whether I keep my JDM STi seat, or go aftermarket like OMP/Recaro... I don't need much from the stock RS seat, but the STi seat is higher by an inch or 2 when I eye-balled it, and I think 3" lower is a bit much

I am trying to get my stock seats lowered by a fabricator but he couldn't figure out a way so I pointed him to this (hopefully it helps):

Drilled new holes and extended the slider handle.
