the TT-R suffers from turn in understeer at least on the gamepad...anyone else feel it?
I tried a popular setup from gtvault, but only made it worse...but that setup was made for a wheel....

Best I've got after 15 laps is a 1:54.721
With NA mod and just R4 softs. Messed with spring rates, height etc... now if a blade of grass carreses the bottom of my tires I go into a mad dash 360 towards the wall :p . I also have the aids on still.
This is just regular Suzuka, not east or whatever the other ones are.

imo winning the toyotal rally raid truck is the way to go. 10 minutes of rally driving = 265,000 credits. plus it's more fun than spec b or taping your controller or whathaveyou...
edit: 1'45, 18th lap. matt's suspension, stage 4 turbo... workin it down

I was trying this a bit and I could only get 1'46.xxx. I wasn't fully focused so hopefully I can get faster. I know there are some corners that I fly past my ghost but then I mess up at another one and the ghost flies by me :(

You have to tune out the understeer so that you can take that one long left sweeper (after the tight esses coming from the long straight away after the start/finish line) without lifting the throttle.

i've played for about 3 hours straight and the fastest time i've been able to hit is 1:44.673 ... i have NO idea how chiketkd is getting to 1:41. i'm running the track flawlessly it seems. im so confused:confused: . Well my official time this week is going to be 1:44.673. im tired of driving around this damn track. i must of went around it 100 times or so.

One other tip, I've tuned out so much understeer in my car that when I'm driving down that long, slightly uphill straight (where you get your last split before the finish), I'm able to make the left hander w/o tapping the brakes or lifting the throttle.

I don't know what's holding you back then. I did a few more laps last night and didn't better my time, but turned 4-5 laps in the 1'41.5 - 1'41.6 range.

my last lap it was 46.025 ..... i can get to your times with nitrous but without it im in the 1:44.xxx. I even broke down and went to gtvault.com and got a tuning setup for the car. they have some of the best gt tuners there. I used one that everyone praised and STILL was in the 1:44.xxx. If your not using nitrous then you must of found some trick that nobody else knows about lol. There is maybe .2-5 tenths of a second left in my times maybe. I'm running this car as hard as it can be run on this track, with my settings anyway. do you cut the track somewhere or what? you have me :confused: on this one.

Hmm, I'm at ~1:44.0. I know I left at least 0.6s because I was dumb and used the brakes at the 130r.
I did a quick lap with the stability management settings Chiketkd mentioned and I can see how some of the turns become much easier and maybe faster. However, I'm going to be stubborn and stick to my 0 ASM/TCS since I didn't use it for any of the other challenges. :p
