Sorry guys. With Chicago over the weekend and getting back to school on the last week before spring break, I didn't have time to come up with a challenge for this week. I just took an hour out of studying to put one up, so have at it! I'll give you guys an extra day this week just to be fair. So, times this week are due WEDNESDAY NIGHT or BEFORE THURSDAY, however you prefer to look at it.
I'll post up last week's times later tonight when I'm done studying.

So what kinda times are people turning on the Tsukuba Circuit WET?
I did a couple shakedown laps last night, and ran a 1'02.5xx... I left over 1 second on the table though.

My fastest so far is 1:03.3xx..i think i can get into the 1:02's but you think you have the 1:01's. thats pretty quick. I guess if i keep going i can get there. I only ran about 15 laps. There's definetly a few tricks to this one that if you don't pick up you won't be even close to our times.

Agreed. As so few mods are allowed, you have to tune the driver aids and VDC correctly for wet conditions. What tires are you using? Racing super soft seem to give the best grip, despite the water on the track...

i have driving aids off and im using super softs also. At first i was using the stock tire because i didn't realise you could change the tire. I was like wtf i can only get to like 1:13 chiketkd is a liar! Then i realised you can change tires and i realised it was actually possible lol.

I really like tsukuba but i tend to like making my cars with real quick turn in and a little oversteer.. Looks cool but isn't very fast ;)

Why? The F1 car on the Nurburgring would be a great challenge. It's not that hard to make it around a clean lap, but it's hard to get 100% out of each turn. Even if it's not the F1 car I'd love to do a Nurburgring challenge some time. I missed the beginning of the challenges so I haven't been doing them, but if you do it next month I'm in.
EDIT: I agree it's a lot of time dedication to squeeze every 10th out, but these challenges are all about how much time you want to put into it no matter how long the track is.

Oh and conerning the Nurburgring. I think alot of people might just give up.
Suzuka circuit is one of the longer tracks, and look at how many less people responded to that challenge.
I personally say do it though.

Its supposed to be fun for everyone (as in get as many people participating as possible). The 'Ring is just too long / time intensive and would easily seperate the teenage kid sitting home after school from the I have 2 kids and a mortgage types.

Im a little confused here, when tuning the VDC the settings go from 35 - 50, so putting it to 50 makes a 50/50 distribution and dropping down to 35 would move more to the front wheels??

i have my vcd set at 10% power to the front wheels... been running ~1:02 on racing #5 tires
