I can't find any confirmation of this anywhere besides that britishrally forum posting and people that are posting about it to other forums. Not even 2am in the UK so, I can hang on to the hope its just a bad joke for a few more hours anyway. Still, hard to belive someone would lie about something like this. Guess I'll go pop on RB rally and play for awhile =(

When I first got into Subies and started following Rally, Richard and Juha Kankunnen were the two team drivers. Richard was the man and I am greatly saddened by this news. I was so happy two years ago with news that he would be coming back home to the Subaru banner, but then just before the Rally Great Britian he blacked out, and there has been a hole in the rally world since.
