S203 spolier aquired

Hey My friend allow me to use his S203's spolier to make a copies of it... However, to just coping 1 is not so worth it so I am wondering anyone is interested in doing so?
if I got enough of ppl doing it, I will find a respectible shop to help hosting a GB. my guess is the price will be in mid [B]$500 - $600[/B] depending on ppl. and it should be made out of carbon fiber.

The Car will arrive at HongKong in DEC 05 Time Frame. based on the amount of people who said "Yes" I can say the game is "[B]ON[/B]" :banana:
About pricing, I would say it is based on the quality of the replica. I believe no one want a so-so replica so ... :rolleyes: however, I will try to get the best deal out of it so it doesn't cost us a arm and a leg.

I had talked to some Retailers and one of them show a great interest into selling the spoliers. I will annonce the retailer once i got the prototype going. :lol:

Ok, the arrival date will be around DEC 5th -DEC10th. after all the custom and stuff cleared, the spolier will be at our hand :devil: POTOTYPE will be made and pictured also, it will be shipped over with EMS service. to see if it is do able with the shipping cost. this probably will be the fastest way to get it into my hand :lol: [/B]

my friend was asking me about how the STI is... and I show him the picture of a S203, and tell him to go check 1 out... I was thinking you have the money to get something more special... so he checked 1 in HK and he love it. he told the person to look for the car in JPN for him and he told me last week that the saleman got 1 for him. he said OK go ahead so ... he is giving me the spolier to make a copy of it or use his VIN to get a OEM one...

I havent checked the price on an OEM yet, but my guess is ... Expensive However, it wouldnt be as expensive as just get a mold and copy 1 so worst comes to worst I will have an OEM S203 on my STI rear in chrismas time :)

from what i have told, the holds on the WRX will fit the S203 wing.

I will have to talk to the factory to see if they need different molding for carbon fiber and FRP. it is possible to have a FRP wing :)

Remember that the USDM STI trunklid has a number holes dilled into it (something in the teens). You would most have to fill the holes or use a spoilerless trunk to mount the S203 spoiler on it.
As for the question of whether the S203 mounts line up with the WRX spoiler holes, my answer is a tenative no. From eyeballing it, it looks like the brackets for the S203 spoiler are closer to the center of the trunk, while the holes drilled for the WRX spoiler are near the bulge at the ends of the trunk.

i plan on buying a wingless trunk and have my buddy who does paint, paint it. he painted his EVO trunk and it came out perfect. possibly paint the wing, too. if you're local i'm sure he'll help you out to (for a few dollars). edit: nvm. your in socal. haha i'm on the other side of the world.

i -might- be in, if it is reasonably priced, FRP, and lines up with the WRX holes..
