I was joking around, and my settings are not to aggressive. Let me worry about how I set up my car and driver.
Edit: I didn't crash out in the first race. I had an exhaust problem.

That should've read, "I suck at navigating the website." I checked the race results and the first thing I saw was the starting positions and thought that was the final result, doh! :o I'm pretty happy with the 13th place considering I missed practice and in a Super Aguri.
I missed practice again for Sapang but hopefully me and my teammate can get our setups better for the next track and see the full potential of the SA.

It's back up. The count-down is showing that the race would be at about 11pm Eastern, so I think I'll be manually advancing the game to get us back near our "normal" time. Only 20 people have done their warm-up laps thus far, though, so I don't want to screw anyone too hard.

Edit: So now I check out the other private game I've got going. Had a pretty poor qualifying session, put the McLaren 8th on the grid. 3 guys in front of me had an "exceptionally bad start." On the first lap I pick off 1, then the 2nd, and then try to pass the car that was 7th on the grid (he had a normal start) and I hit him!! :eek: You gotta be kidding me!! At least this time I'm not out of the race, but went from 8th, to racing for 4th, back to 15th all in the first lap. My teammate was one of the bad starters, he went from 6th to 12th. Now, back to the race... Ended up fighting my way back to 3rd. Shoulda been 2nd, but I apparently am incapable of passing. :rolleyes:

you got to be very careful of which tires you start on if you start on 2.3 cut slick hard on your next stop you will put on 3.1 intermediate. It uses the next set of tires avalible.

Its supposed to pick the best tire availible. If its going to intermediate it should be because thats what your tire sliders are telling the comp to do.

Also, you should uncheck the box that says "Use this tire" if you don't want to use that tire in a race. I always just leave one compound marked, but that will probably change once we have a wet race.

Don't feel bad.. my champ car season is horrific. I crashed at surfers paradise, 'couldn't find my groove' during qualifying at Phoenix (qualifying dead last) and crashed again after moving up 10 spots during the race.
My A1GP season is going well, although I screwed up during practice for the feature.
