I have manually advanced the game, everyone should get an email telling them the game has advanced (which means qualifying is done). You now get 8 more warm-up runs to further dial in your setup to try to get all your settings "spot on". The race count-down is on - it'll happen at ~9:45pm (East Coast) tomorrow. Once the race is calculated you'll get another email telling you the game has advanced again.

My qualifying was horrible though, I accidentally went out on worn tires. That's the main reason that Lanard got such a jump on me.

I found a nice chart, the car comparisson ([url]http://batracer.com/-cC[/url]) and I find it hard to believe that the game really is biased against a fair chance at winning if you aren't a top team. The Toro Rossos, Midlands and Super Aguris don't stand a chance in the series. Ferrari, McLaren or Renault will dominate. How is this a game? :( Basically I have to resign to the fact that I don't stand a chance. Ferrari at its worst case is better than my best case...argh.

I got hit by a Red Bull when I was in 3rd which burried me for the race. Instantly went to 16th then had throttle problems. Doh.

I agree. I'm not a big fan of that system. Sure, it's 'more realistic', but does it make it fun & fair for all? No.
I think there's a lot of competition between the big teams, and the little teams, but maybe not so much between Ferrari and Super Aguri. But, I haven't looked at the coding. Maybe it equals out somewhere in the game. :o

My car wasnt sorted (91%), I pitted on the first lap and still came in 3rd. I have to say things look good for mclaren as long as the cars stay together.

Oh don't get me wrong, its still really cool. I just thought that it would be a bit more fantasy in that you actually stand a chance. Its a bit more fun knowing you are playing for top spot versus hoping you finish.

I've seen on the forums that Super Aguris can fight for championships in the right conditions... so I wouldn't sweat it too much. You don't have a chance at beating the Red Bulls though.
