Also, the climate control mod has been discontinued until further notice.

Kit includes everything...just cant do the clock just yet....dont think it will happen either [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/frown.gif[/img] but everything tach, speedometer, gas temp and odo, all blue!

I think red is gonna be impossible to make... I've thrown some other cother behind the gauges.. didnt work... [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/frown.gif[/img] i tried read and blue didnt work..got black [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/frown.gif[/img]
yellow made it like pukey lime color... red behind it looked like barf, nothing turned out pleasant...just blue. I have some more ideas coming..but i dont think they'll work all that well.
The blue looks really nice and is not aggresive on you eyes like green.

I'm very interested in your new version, but am nervous about ripping apart my dash. How difficult is it? (1-10) Any special dash ripping apart tools I'd need? Could you post a picture of your new version? Will instructions be included to those who buy from you?

Yakker, all you need is a phillips head screwdriver to un screw 5 screws that lie in your dash area. Everything else is visible and all you have to do is un clip the plexiglass and the piec behind it... I'd say its maybe a 4 considering how tedious you must be

By the way everyone (and you too McDade)... I'm working on an easy install for the climate controls...mine are blue right now just to let you know... but im gonna try and make it easier to install.

I Would see how the needles attach when you have it apart, and head out to your local wrecking yard and see how the VW needles attach. Compare size ect. I can't imagine that they would be that different..... if anything, maybe you'll see a way to just change the pointer..... Who knows, just an Idea....

But very curious about the installation process. How hard will will it be?? Have their been any side effects from doing this, long term... I.E. the material you are using is it possibly going to melt or mess up anything??

HEY EVERYONE!!! WOW I am amazed by the reception that this has taken... I posted not even 18 hours ago and look at the results...
The A/C mod is kinda gettho in design..but it works really well!!! I wish I had film to take pics... but lets but it this way... its bluer than the gauges (but not by much)
I'm gonna be making a few kits this weekend to send to some specified "testers" that I have already chosen. They will give me feedback on the difficulty of install, rate how my install instructions work, and the overall quality of my package.
As of now... 9AM CT, I think I have about 37 of you ready to buy... I ordered enough material to make 50 packs (A/C and gauges) I'll wait till after the weekend to order more to back up the 50 I already have. Once my testers have approved (which I'm sure they will) I'll start taking payments and shipping info from all of you.
So It looks I'll be busy this Thanksgiving holiday.. I have Wednesday thru Sunday off of work... So I'll be cutting this stuff up like a mad man!!!
Keep the pre orders coming in everyone!!!

Well I know that you guys are dying to get this... and I want to ship it out more than anything!!!
I should be getting my plastics from my supplier by early to mid next week... I was hoping to get it today...
Well as many of you know I'm really looking forward to getting this all produced during my thanksgiving break and get it all shippable by monday morning....
Hows this all sound to you guys... I wish I could get it out sooner also...
