Now that I think of it, I think that if the WRC ran it's highlight videos from 2004 in between the commercial breaks during a NASCAR race on TV....would people become hooked? Nearly every person I've shown a WRC video to has his face in utter awe 5 seconds into the video and they want more. Perhaps they should do that to build WRC name recognition since many race fans haven't even seen a rally!

YES!!!! I got the monte carlo rally!!! I can't search for it or others though because it just comes up under Auto Racing with no title or show schedules. maybe it's just a slot SPEED keeps reserved for anything they have just laying around. On another note, has anyone noticed that the quality of filming, editing, and CG is by far the best on the WRC events than anything else on SPEED. it's like comparing CNN to public school TV productions.

It was so excellent when it was on Sunday nights starting at 9 PM EST. WRC is why I upgraded my cable service. It was horrible that SPEED lost Paris-Dakar (and OLN's coverage was like having to watch a partial birth abortion.) Now WRC is scheduled for the 13th March at 11 PM EST. :mad:
Makes it hard to watch with the kids so there will be a future generation of rally fans.

BTW, I'm looking for a recording of the 05 Swedish rally and I am willing to pay for it. The WRC doesnt send me notifications anymore and I missed Petters win :( . This is the 1st rally I've missed so if any of you can help, it will be greatly appreciated.

Just left feedback. I loved the Turkey WRC coveraged I watched on Speed last night. Wish they had more time to be a bit more in depth though. Go Peter!

Now they just need to get a standard time slot. The WRC coverage was normally on from 9-10:30. Then they changed the time to 11-12:30. Now its back to 9-10:30 :furious:

I missed the first 45 minutes because I thought it was on at 11 (I do not press the guide button on my direct tv remote to see whats on, I like to surf the channels)
