I thought episode 5 was the best one yet. As darknightohio mentioned, they spent a good amount of time detailing the building of the car, and then quite a bit of time on Atkinson's fight to stay with the SWRT.
Really enjoyable series so far other than the fact that we already know how the 2006 season ultimately turned out... :(

Just watched five the building of the car was interesting and it was cool to see Chris driving well, but watching the engineers and mechanics is depressing. Seeing how they are admitting that they can't figure out the car and clearly are distressed about it, petter too.

Yep seeding counts but you gotta watch and can't go nuts on the DLing which suck unless you put a lot of time into creating torrents. That's why RU is better.

ya i've been banned a few times for share ratio. it seems every few months i can re-register my user name and it's all good. kinda weird. but ya, i really hate the ratio quota all together.

Ya I have over tera in motorsport stuff. V8SC def take up the most. They even ban IPs after a while and then all of a sudden you can visit the site again down the road. I think I've gone through 5 or 6 accounts which is obvisouly terrible but when you are this addicted you need it! Try racing-underground.com. Not as good but no DL limits. I have added a bunch of stuff to those sites though.

I feel that Solberg is a very competitive driver and he is over-driving the car either to make up for lack of something that Loeb has or lack of car that Loeb has. I think that with a good car Solberg will still be a better match for Gronholm than Loeb.

I dont think the tech is the problem. Look at all the issues the team has had. most of them are broken metal peices. drive-shafts, brake-pads, tranny's, tires.
like what they said in ep 5, there were fundamental issues with the design of the car. i'm waiting on the 08 hatch..... the current chassis is just too big and heavy.

I'm afraid the new platform will hamper Subaru success in the other classes. No more Mac Struts in the rear has greatly reduced the suspensions travel potential, and unlike the WRC spec cars, the others cant change out the suspension.

I figured Prodrive was there for good... I find it a little weird Subaru wouldn't do the engineering in house. I would think it would make their production cars that much better and cheaper for them to do it all as well.

Just for the record, I would watch something like this on NASCAR, F1, GP Moto, whatever. While the WRC is obviously near and dear to us, this concept is awesome, and just makes the actual process behind the race that much more accessible.

^^^ Every season ever was better than 06, and they are sort of doing better in 07 but you can't really say that yet. They came in 4th in the last rally but due to penalties they were promoted to 2nd. I don't think the weight of a piece of glass is what made the Fords a minute quicker.
