Just did mine tonight. Was pretty easy to do,about 20min. Would of gone alot faster if I could of took off the steiring wheel.
For looks it's not as blue as I throught it would be. The color isn't that even and now there is white light coming from the center of the tach. Tomorrow i'm going to try to adjust it better, I'll let you know how it comes out.
Does anyone know if there are briter lights we could put in?

I was hoping mine would come in the mail today... but alas, no.. I must wait another 24 hours
For the bright lights I would suggest:
•higher wattage bulbs(available at any electronics store)
•PIAA Super White lights (H-91 will fit the gas/temp/speedo/tach gauges, but i don't think they have them for the turn signal lights) I heard these give an "awesome" glow.
•or a another brand of "high intensity" lights (available at any ricer tuning shop)
I have a few of the PIAA lights, and I will let you know the difference in color when I get the pieces in the mail.
Peace-
Ian

I got mine today and I just installed the kit. I love the color. I just need to do some adjusting of the position of the gel when I have more time. I think it was worth the $15 spent.

Dude, there's no reason to change the bulbs with my gauges........ I you lose maybe 5% of the stock luminosity with my gauge pak... but you're welcome to experiment [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif[/img]

got mine today, and just installed them. they look great!! the only problem is that the tach and gas are a little off-center, so i'll have to adjust them. oh, and the speedo was hard as hell to get in, though my buddy did it in his first try. but yeah, it looks great, and i haven't had any problem with my gauges.

Finally! I'm glad you guys have received them and are enjoying them! I knew you would! My only worry was that some would want it even bluer.... but it is obviously blue, and MUCH better than stock [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/biggrin.gif[/img] Well anyway, I hope the rest of you have fun installing them this weekend!

Ok mine are in...it looks ok...couple little things.
1. I had to trim the speedo cut out on the top right and left to get it to fit flush...looks ok.
2.The 0 on the tach is only half blue as is the portion were it says rpmsx1000
3. The H on the temp gauge is not covered at all, and I tried adjusting but it didnt work.
4. The odo piece..unless im doing something wrong, you cant read the odometer during the day...so I left that out.
5. Also the little fuel pump isnt completly covered on the fuel gauge.
All in all for 15 bucks im not going to complain about these minor things...it looks good.
I will have to go back in and see if I can tweak the pieces to make them cover better. I was kinda rushing at work to get it done. Ill see what I can do.
Oh I also had to take the cluster out to do this..did anyone else?

Yeah I was debating about the Odomoter too, its dark as hell. I too had to trim some pieces but I believe everything is covered, it isn't dark yet so I cant check. I didn't like how to do the A/C but I got my own way I'm going to do sooner or later. Besides that good kit. Everyone should be happy, good job Bank

installed the kit today, trimmed little section by the odo.. you just have to carefully adjust the film, got it perfect on the second try [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif[/img] it is beautiful, also did the a/c my own way with blue bulb caps. the green caps are a pain the butt to get off, had to scrape the rubber off. blue caps on my autometer gauges in custom gauge pack. it looks sooooo sweet, post pics soon.
all in all EXTREMELY HAPPY [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif[/img] talk to you later bankheist.

I think they look great bankheist, thanks!
if you own an SAFC, you're in for one sweet ass treat! The agua of the afc and the now blue dash match almost perfectly... and so do the orange needles and AFC's orange buttons!
Some criticism...
my car (1998) redlines at 6500, not below. so a few RPM lines are still green.
The plastic filter doesnt accomidate the little knob that sticks up (holds the needles at 0 mph/rpm). So the plastic is slightly warped. Makes some uneven lighting.
Ya forgot to send me the "ghetto" climate control color changer thingy.
PM me.

I was out all night, and even though the green shows on parts of the guages(wich I cant even see), Im going to have to adjust the gel later on, it still looks great...Must keep eyes on road...not on cool color gauges.... [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/biggrin.gif[/img]

Kevin--I havent had a chance to adjust the pieces yet, that will be 2morrow (mon) Ill let you know how it works out, I think all I have to do is push the tach piece down more and the fuel/temp gauge up and over to the right.
As for going to the classifieds, if you feel you have gotten enough positive feedback...then do it. I think you have sold enough so far to show that there is definatly an intrest in the kit. You defintaly have a complete product. And for 15 bucks...you cant lose. Best of luck.

Yes, that sounds like the ansewer to your gas/temp problem...thats what i was thinking when you explained it to me. everyone has the same thing so I don't know why one wouldn't work [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif[/img]
Also... I think I have received a ton of positive feed back so far... and just a tiny bit of critiscism... which is being worked on right now.
All in all i think I'll be taking this to the Private Classifieds by the end of the day.

heist,
yeah all 98's redline at 6500. Also: the faces are black, not white. And dont forget the extra 50 hp on the 98's haha j/k
jack,
i did that this weekend. 3am sunday morning haha it was like 20 below outside.
Just swap 4 bulbs... everything but the clock and indicators turn blue. The bad thing is, the needles turn a funky color. But the blue is unmatched, it's *really* blue. not aqua.
Good thing about bulbs:
Just pop them in, no guess work.
Since the face isnt being lifted, no light bleeds into into the indicator sections.
It's a very nice shade of blue.
No chance of F'ing up the needles.
Bad things about using bulbs:
To turn the clock blue ya still gonna need a light filter. The clock uses a small bulb, cant get them in blue.
You will have to take out the whole display to swapt the bulbs. it's a pain the ass.
Blue bulbs are hard to come by. I only know one place that sells em, and he rapes me for them.
The needles are now brown.
Nothing's ever easy :)

i am going to take pics tonight after work w/ the dig. cam. (eats batteries for breakfast). i had to adjust the film only once, and it is perfect [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif[/img] the whole job took me like 2 hours because i had to change the caps on the bulbs in my custom Perf. gauge pack., and did the climate control w/ the same caps. everything is blue, it still doesn't match the color of my Panasonic head unit, but looks AWESOME [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif[/img]
post pics tomorrow morning first thing of whole dash day/night. sorry it is taking me so long to get pics together.

Definitely a thumbs down. I might had screwed up my needles somehow, cause my speedometer does not move anymore. My RPM is acting weird and different shades of blue everywhere. I should say different shades of DARK blue [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif[/img] Anyhow, looks dark and dim. If I were batman that be cool but I need to see my instruments.
Thanks for the effort though.

Well, I got them in. Didn't tape them because I be fixing them again. Just wanted to see how they are going to be tonight. Some issues and comment though. Issues mainly with the instructions.
Instructions
============
1. It was easier to remove the black cowling after removing the plastic glasss.
2. Both the plastic glass and black cowling were easily removed once the BOTTOM tabs were pushed in. Instructions states the top but it's much harder that way.
3. Lower both the turn signal and washer levers without power. Easier to get the damn screws in and out. With a dumb screwdriver that I was using the screws must have fallen to the carpet (luckily!!!) 10 times each.
Comments
========
1. It's kinda dark now that it's installed. In the gloomy weather, I could not tell what color it was. There were a little blue here and there but won't know until dark.
2. Expected it to be brighter and as luminescent as the pictures showed but I don't think it's going to be. Again, going to have to wait til tonight, but just looking at the inserts seems like it's not going to happen. Thinking maybe bumping the intensity of the light bulb somehow to get it brighter.
3. I dont' know about everyone else but the faceplates bulges. My RPM needle hesitates just a little bit (hardly noticeable but noticeable).
4. The insert for the gas and temp didn't fit nicely onto mine. Either it left a gap or would block the faceplace from clipping into it's block (top left corner). I left it with the gap and it looks alright. Can't tell til tonight.
5. The speedometer insert didn't fit. I haven't trimm it yet until after tonight but will eventually. The bottow left is just a little big. This explains for the part of the bulge [img]http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif[/img]
Got to find a color lightbulb. Until then, will update what happens tonight.
