JDM Interior Illumination ?

Anybody seen this before? It was listed as illumination set on an official Subaru site. I can't find the site in my browser history - doh!

It looks like you get an extra courtesy light under the dash and it's green for mood lighting... :p

why? it's just footwell illumination. my old 87 supra had that standard, but it was supplied by an led, if i remember correctly.

what are the power gains on that install.... 15-25 hp increase? but the question is HOW MUCH TORQUE GAIN?

I didn't say I wanted it, I am just curious about it and I posted here because I thought there may be some JDM gurus who knew about it but instead I get the boyz from Jersey, an ebonics mope and a 2F2F fashion consultant who together couldn't organize a bagged lunch let alone a drift event. :lol:

I saw that somewhere before too. I wish my scoobie had better interior illumination. I'm planning on wiring up an extra fog switch in one of those blanks next to the steering wheel and wiring up a decent interior lighting setup. One switch and all the interior lights come on along with some floor lighting. Not for effect, but so I can see the change I just dropped!

wire up a set of neon tubes and you'll get the jdm tytenezz you desire....btw it will give you a 25hp and 400lb torque gain!

Great posts George. Gets the week started off right, I'm just bummed I missed it going back and forth mid-month. :lol: I've been considering doing the same lighting but with LED's, not for bling but if you drop something - lights would be really nice. If your going to do it though it might as well look good. :) Keep us posted on what you find.

These do come standard. Just got my JDM front clip and sure enough I checked under the dash and there is a set of LEDs under the dash on both the driver's and passenger's side...
