Hehehehe- yep, that's going to be kind of weird to see. Rally drivers tend to change seats a lot, but Tommi's been a real stable force in his red car.

Just wait until he starts competing in the rallies. Then we'll get a picture of what he really thinks of the car.
I'm just glad the Subaru/Burns dispute hasn't dragged on for long. I just doubt it would've been good publicity for Subaru or WRC.

Man,, Makkinen (and Groenholm who I suspect to be his long lost twin brother) are always so positive about everything, not to mention humble. Must be a Finnish thing.

Hehe, it is, sorta. I used to work for a Finnish company and had lots of Finn coworkers. Aside from the fact that every [email protected] one of them was a better natural-born driver than me, it was a pleasure to work with them.
they do tend to hold grudges though....

I am really looking forward to Monte Carlo to see how these guys go in the new cars. There has been so many changes this year.
I think Burns is going to fly on the Monte, i just hope it's not too icy so we get a real picture of the tarmac potential at least.

I definitely find that Fins tend to look alike. And there is nothing like Finnish humor, just watch a Mika Hakkinen post race interview if you don't know what I mean. <[i]Was that a joke??[/i]> But they are incredible drivers, that's for sure.

In Tarmac trim it looks as you Brits say "the dog's bollocks" :D
It makes me want to get a WRX in WRB eventhough I think that colour isn't the best. Subaru has made the Mica Blue/gold colour scheme such a motoring classic; sorta like BRG/yellow and Lotus.
John, you're so damn blessed to live in a country that holds motorsports to such high esteem...this goes out to you my friend... :monkey: :D

Yep, we are lucky over here mykrrrr. 2001 was pretty hopeless rally wise with F&M but 2002 is looking great. We have a full championship programme with the GroupA cossie lined up, probably our last year as a front running team with a full spec car so we are going to go all out to win the championship. We led it in 1999 but just stumbled a bit at the end. 2002 we are gonna go kick ass. :lol:

Similar to what Shik said earlier, In the latest RallyXS, Burns did say that the Evo was an extremely difficult car to drive. So if Tommi did so well in that who knows what he'll be able to do with the Impreza WRC.
