PR: Subie Gal Racing Obtains WRX Wagon for 2003
It's official! :D

Subie Gal Racing Unveils New Subaru for 2003

For Immediate Release January 2003:
Kirkland, WA - Subie Gal Racing driver/owner Jamie Thomas and Carter Subaru (www.cartersubaru.com - Seattle, WA) alongside www.allsubaru.com have announced an agreement on a new vehicle for the Subie Gal Racing team in 2003. Beginning with the Doo Wops Club Rally, March 8-9 (in WA) - Subie Gal Racing will be debuting a 2002 Subaru WRX Wagon in the Production GT Class.

"So here we go, we're going to rally a Wagon, said Jamie with a huge grin. This is the first WRX Wagon to compete in the SCCA Pro/Club Rallies, we're going to compete in the PGT Class for now, and take it from there. This car is more than capable and of course I can't wait to get started.

Carter Subaru, in conjunction with the on line Subaru Parts Store - AllSubaru.com, are providing this WRX to Subie Gal Racing as sponsorship for the 2003 Season. The Wagon itself has less than 2,000 miles on it. Quick history - the vehicle was parked outside of a building that caught on fire. The driver side of the car suffered massive heat damage, leaving anything "plastic" in ruins. Basically the wagon needs cosmetic work, then it can be rallified! "I think this is going to be great," stated Scott Eney, Operations Manager for www.allsubaru.com, "We really wanted to be a part of this and are glad we could help Jamie get going with this project."

Preliminary photos of this car are here -

Wagons Rock!
Awesome! Now the wagon guys have someone to root for-not like we didn't root for you already-you know what I mean!

Warning: You may notice that your wagon has a little more horsepower then your previous ride!

..oh wait..don't let too many people know that the wagons are just as fast as the sedans and you can haul more spare wheels in the back!

My wagon did pretty good last year::)

2002 Valvoline Cup Off-Road National Champion
2002 SCCA Rocky Mountain Division RallyCross Production GT Champion
2002 SCCA Colorado Region RallyCross Production GT Champion

Best of luck!

Sweet! Rally prepped wagons are cool. John Paytner in the Canadian Rally Championship has one. He's in the production class.

Good Luck

glad to hear it Jamie. now you just need to put the bags of grocery stickers in the back window. that would be too funny. hope that the side markers i gave you helped a little bit.
